Based an absolutely nothing. Thanks for the research. You mean a sport washing ownership saying he is a fan because that is good PR?

But he's not local. He lives in Monaco. Refused to be part of British society and pay his taxes.
If he actually said that you’d have a point. It’s a bit different to saying you don’t want a foreigner. How is that so hard to get your head around?Or maybe some fans don't want to be the same as City and Newcastle and be state owned. How is this so hard to get your head around?
At least he's contributing to our society then! But he keeps his pollution in the UK
No. He just sounded it.Just a friendly reminder our most successful manager of all time was a “foreigner”.
Where are the ‘nationality objections’. It’s mainly an objection to nation states ownership. To sportswashing oligarchs. It doesn’t work to try and tar that objection as racist. It’s not. The local element and identity can be treasured and sit comfortably with an international fanbase. People - for example - in the far East or the far West can be involved in forums on tv etc and love the club. What a special dream to one day sit in the stands, for such fans. All welcome all importantNationality objections are ridiculous. To be honest it isn't less xenophobic to say "I don't want any more Amercans" either

its called greenwashing and yes, that's exactly what INEOS have been doing for years.Doesn't sportwashing also apply to Ineos?
Stretty News posted this opinion piece earlier, it's since been edited, but you can read the original here.
Not sure how we can accept comments like the one this twitter user has highlighted as a fan base to be honest. How are trans supporters of the club supposed to feel reading bile like this?

Based on this PR spiel he is. You want to believe that and state it as fact. GreatAh so based on absolutely nothing other than your biased opinion, he’s not a fan.
No its for Middle east Arabs apparently.Doesn't sportwashing also apply to Ineos?
It's also called sportwashing, sportwashing isn't limited to ME countries, it applies to corporations.
well true, it's the same thing for different reasons - but with the same objective. It's also called sportwashing, sportwashing isn't limited to ME countries, it applies to corporations.
Close... more about oppressive regimes but keep making it about race...No its for Middle east Arabs apparently.
Qatar PR is top notch
Elliot though it seems it is more them backing Avram/Joel to buy the other Glazers share. Are there any other confirmed bidders (apart from Ratcliffe and Qatar)?
Nope. Only they’ve gone public so far.Are there any other confirmed bidders (apart from Ratcliffe and Qatar)?
Nothing concreteAre there any other confirmed bidders (apart from Ratcliffe and Qatar)?
Apparently not but rumours is that there are more. Imagine if more evil corporations or countries are involved, it will cause meltdown of epic proportions hereAre there any other confirmed bidders (apart from Ratcliffe and Qatar)?
Is it a bid in their own right or financing others who want to bid.Why isnt the Elliot company that bid in the title? What have I missed?
They haven’t bid. They’re willing to offer some finance for a bid. At the 15% interest they charged for AC Milan I get why.Why isnt the Elliot company that bid in the title? What have I missed?
Elliot bid?Nope. Only they’ve gone public so far.
He said he would rather have a local man rather than forgein investment all the time. Nothing racist about that.If he actually said that you’d have a point. It’s a bit different to saying you don’t want a foreigner. How is that so hard to get your head around?
Curious, as a rival fan, what do you make of us under the 2 different public offers? Are there any other confirmed bidders (apart from Ratcliffe and Qatar)?
I believe they’ve just said they’re open to providing funding for a bid, not making their own.Why isnt the Elliot company that bid in the title? What have I missed?
I thought it was an offer to fund someone rather than an outright bidElliot bid?
I thought the bid was for investment so part ownership? They haven’t bid. They’re willing to offer some finance for a bid. At the 15% interest they charged for AC Milan I get why.
Yep, he didn't even speak English.Just a friendly reminder our most successful manager of all time was a “foreigner”.
If Radcliffe and Ineos were American not a single person would be supporting their efforts.
Qatar PR is top notch
Cant his be pinned somewhere? If Radcliffe and Ineos were American not a single person would be supporting their efforts.
So xenophobia is celebrated and anyone who points that out is playing the “victim card”. Sounds oddly familiar
