Gold Trafford.
If it's true that they already bid they have played their cards really early. Either this is bs or they are totally confident to blow everyone else out of the water
If we get an Arab nation with loads of dough, the hatorade will be overflowing.
Especially if the sanctimonious pricks over at Anfield get another US owner who's tighter than a duck's arse. They'll love having the higher moral ground and we'll love actually winning titles.

the Grass isn't always Greener on the other side....remember that if we get sold to an oil state
You’ve backtracked a little here. I’m glad you’ve dropped the “I’m not ITK but…” BS because it just causes unnecessary confusion.
If you had actual information, you’d post it. There wasn’t any need to be so cryptic.
I'm not claiming to be ITK or repeat what I've heard or anything like that. But all I will say is that's very good advice for the next few days.
State owned clubs have always had a poor view when injecting money into a club to get it started off the ground when the said club has inadequate organic revenue. By contrast this is a unique example of a very established club merely being owned by wealthy owners. You consider the City investigation you can almost guarantee it won't become a muscle flexing contest for spending the most. All that's required is a debt free model, infrastructure investment and a rational hierarchy to lead footballing matters.
No chance. If it’s 5bn the deal will be done
What? Reuters refers to bloomberg reporting? Interesting. They are fierce rivals.Feb 16 (Reuters) -
* QATARI ROYALS PLAN £5 BILLION OPENING BID FOR MAN UNITED - BLOOMBERG NEWS
There won't be, Ten Hag will get the final say and we'll be run within the means of FFP and whatever financial restraints the PL put on us.Qatar will end up owning us.
Hopefully they put someone who isn’t unhinged like the PSG lad in charge.
No ridiculous statement signings please.
Sky says the bid is in
I wonder what'll happen to the transfer market post the inevitable billionaire takeovers of Utd, Spurs and Liverpool.
It'll be mad with all of them scrambling to one up each other every window. Chelsea and City obviously in the mix as well.
Spain, Italy and Germany might be forced to reanimate the Super League to remain competitive in the market.
But the club generates plenty of its own revenue, unlike City who uses “sponsorships” (fraud). FFP does not apply in the same manner. There won't be, Ten Hag will get the final say and we'll be run within the means of FFP and whatever financial restraints the PL put on us.
Normally I'd agree but if the info coming from Qatar is true and FSG do not want to sell a controlling stake, I'd struggle to see why the Arab nations would bother.I'm certain one of Saudi or Qatar, whomever is unsuccessful with us will aim for Liverpool.
They will get sir Jim. Guy wants PL club. If he did bid for Celski then he will sure bid for PoolIf we get an Arab nation with loads of dough, the hatorade will be overflowing.

Not sure. Think we’ll see everybody else drop out after this, can hardly offer less and expect a positive response.
To me, who knows nothing about this, it appears the auction is over and now it’s just details.
it’s amazing how Qatar have managed to make themselves the default option to the Glazers without any blowback. Nobody is fighting back for hearts and minds
And we’ll have CL money to boot plus a new shirt sponsorship that will be signed as soon as the takeover happens. But the club generates plenty of its own revenue, unlike City who uses “sponsorships” (fraud). FFP does not apply in the same manner.
I still refuse to believe. This season is just too good to be true. Everything is going way too good.
They are worth £560 billion. I think it’s safe to say they are … confident.
No Sky tweet

Feels like one of those Game of Thrones rug pulls, doesn't it? I hope we get over the League Cup final at least.I'm not believing it myself and I expect it go wrong at any time, possibly ending in the hands of Ratcliffe, or worse. But I will take the opportunity to get hyped.
Saudi private bid for Chelsea couldnt match American bid. PIF is not involved. Its why no one is running with Saudi story. All major financial news outlets are running Qatar storySaudi Arabia at the very least would be prepared to match £5b I'm sure. The pretenders like Ratcliffe should drop out quickly though
Do the Glazers have to pay 20% capital gains tax?
good point. id like to know aswell but im sure they know how to wriggle around or limit itDo the Glazers have to pay 20% capital gains tax?
Seems very harsh doesn’t it?Do the Glazers have to pay 20% capital gains tax?
And that won't matter one bit if City spend £500m on a new team right after the FFP trial if they win, we simply can't compete if that happens, no one can.But the club generates plenty of its own revenue, unlike City who uses “sponsorships” (fraud). FFP does not apply in the same manner.
