Feels to me like this is being leaked to keep the share price from dropping, which it has been since the last update from the Fat Man.
Funny how these updates come at the time when the financial results are about to be released, where they are going to show an increase in revenue from selling overpriced 'experience tickets' & competition money that currently is looking like we might not get next year.
Also, worth pointing out that we are only 10 weeks away from the January transfer window opening and 14 weeks away from it closing... If the gimps plan on still being around beyond January, it would make sense for it to be leaked that the sale is close, so that they can use the same excuse as last January to bring in loan players to replace the likes of Sancho. Hate to talk about the owners and transfers in the same sentence - but the only time fans do seem to stick together more is when there is a shitty transfer window - and we are about to hit a period of really bad transfer windows if the gimps are still in charge.
In summary - don't believe the rumours, it is most likely a distraction tactic as we enter an important few weeks and months where fans are more likely to be 'managed' rather than updated.
