Get the Dubai guys on the phone. 6 billion is hefty not sure we can really expect a total sale if that number is right

I'm skeptical there will be a full sale. Especially with the current economic climate and what it's projected to be next year. Let's see what happens.
Don't think that matters for the super wealthy, many tend to get even richer.

I can see there being interest from China And India as well. Some of the firm's and billionaires.

they must be pretty desperate if they’re going public

my guess is Liverpool announcing it spooked them

not too many potential buyers so Liverpool selling is significant

Even though being owned by oil bastards wouldn't be ideal, they're far more likely to properly invest in the team than Americans. Getting Glazers v2 scares me.

Anybody that can seriously afford to buy this club isn't going to be a great person/people.

With the state of the stadium and training complex, 6b is a push, it needs to be a discount price knowing they will have to spend a lot from the get go

Sky just wrote an article; Manchester United: How “Scavenger” Glazers bought club - and left Old Trafford rotting in a mess.

They are not hedging anymore, seems like they believe this is the endgame. Doubt they’ve ever written anything so blunt before out of fear of having their footie journalist banned from pressers.

feck that, no fecking oil states at this club.
Saudis are the worst of the bunch, but they've got Newcastle.

A Dubai-based ownership wouldn't be everyone's idea of an ethical ownership, but they're not as bad as the journalist murderers, and nor would they be as incompetent as US billionaires. So they might be our best bet like it or not. Especially if we want to stay competitive with the sportwashing clubs in Europe and even in England.

Probably not. But there's a massive, massive gap between "not great" and "actively involved in human rights violations".

There's debt on the club as it is. So it won't be a leveraged buyout I guess if it is let to remain.

Can cancel out Elon, Russian Oligarchs, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Saudi. So we have Bahrain (?), Dubai remaining of the oil nations . Doubt Ambani and Adani ( Indian Billionaires ) will be interested.

With Sky high interest rates i dont see a hedge fund buying us
