Hazard just completely neglected the runner also, wasn't like he was caught unawares.
Lucky escape there for Atletico. Chelsea's goal was a product of their tactics. They got the ball wide, Wilian became the extra man and his off the ball movement created the opportunity for a precise pass in the box.
Atletico, although they defended well most of the time (with the exception of Juanfran), couldn't find any solutions in the final third. Taking the risk to over commit players in the offense seemed to be the only way to get back in the game. And the fist time they tried it, with both full backs going forward, they scored.

No no I'm serious! Chelsea have looked dangerous every time they've gone forward. Bar the goal they've kept things tight at the back, but credit to Atletico for being patient. Extra points for Costa bullying Terry, is there a bigger cnut in football right now than Costa (Suarez excepted)?
