CL Semi-Finals 13/14 - April 22,23,29,30

Pepe has always been a great defender.

Wouldn't have fixed the amateur defending. The problem is having 8 players so far up and then only having Dante and boateng to defend against Ronaldo, bale, di Maria and benzema. It's amateur mistakes.
Attacking wise, perfect for Pep's style. Controls the game.

These Bayern supporters are really amazing. Non stop support

boateng and dante is such a stupid centreback pairing, they have no intelligence or defensive nous whatsoever.

I always thought Boateng was a full back, has he often played in CB this season?

Regardless of his actual position, you're right, it's not a great pairing. Bayern's defence as a whole has looked vulnerable at times this season and, as a result, the better teams have punished them.

Neville just put a photo of him with Falcao along with another "pace and power" tweet. He's clearly been drinking a lot.

Pepe has always been a great defender.
True. Since he had the knee injury in 09/10 I think he started regressing with last season being his worst, but he has been our best defender this year without a doubt. Still psycho though, but just remembering to play football while he is at it.

Bayern fans going home.
Even though they've got the moral victory cup to play for.

Have the Bayern fans started praying? Sounds like they are chanting hallelujah.

Madrid will not score this many goals against Chelsea if they meet.

Murinho will concede possession to Madrid so the counter will not be an issue.

Mou will park the bus, he doesn't care if it goes to penalties.

Who knows? Maybe Luka Modric will slip.

Di Maria looks knackered. His work rate is phenomenal so I'm not surprised.

Serves him right. He ditched one if the best managers in the world who raised him and brought him through and said his main reason was because of pep. Shocking really, basically like a slap in Klopps face just saying that.

You wanna know what the worst part is? From the look on Klopp´s face in that presser back then, he actually believed him that. It clearly felt like a sucker punch to him. Made me really hate that little ungrateful cúnt and I rarely feel really negative towards football players.

The boy had so much time, so much potential. One or two additional seasons under Klopp, who appreaciated and used him in the absolute right way, could have turned him into an absolute world class player. He could still transfer for a bargain and handpick his next club. Instead he fell for Bayern´s "now or never" trap and looks instead forced into a role that does not really suit him and stagnated in his development.

Its funny that his big buddy Reus, a player with amazing but still less talent and potential, now has clearly overtaken him as Germany´s best offensive midfielder and thrives under Klopp. It hopefully teaches Reus a lesson.

Feck off ITV, no one wants to see Madrid vs Chelsea.. it would be as boring as watching grass grow.

Would be interesting to see how amazing Real's attack looks against 4 centre backs, 1 full back, 3 holding midfielders, 1 winger and 1 striker.

I don't really like Mourinho either but I'd get a fair bit of schadenfreude out of seeing Mourinho deny Real La Decime knee slides and all.
