CL Semi-Finals 13/14 - April 22,23,29,30

Bayern don't do set pieces do they?

They used to be nearly untouchable in that regard. They also used to be extremely versatile and nearly impossible to defend. Then Guardiola arrived.....

Kinda worried about our defence. 2 years ago we played them with Gustavo in midfield, last year we played with Martinez. This time we play completely without a DM (Kroos). Even Dortmund played with a real 6 (Kirch).

Heynckes Bayern > Pep's Bayern. Faster, stronger, more direct, more clinical.
That 4-4-2 formation is not working for Real Madrid at all. Prehistoric.

Who even plays like that anymore? :p

Bayern are all show and no substance. Can play all that short one-two tiki taka bullshit all day, but it's the directness of Real that's been most effective.

This game aint over yet, Madrid are the masters of going ahead early and then bottling it mid game

We lost it all since we clinched the league title. Ever since then, it was just one horror show after the next. What the actual hell is Pep thinking? WHAT?

They used to be nearly untouchable in that regard. They also used to be extremely versatile and nearly impossible to defend. Then Guardiola arrived.....

Agreed.

Heynckes team was not only technical, it was powerful, physically imposing, pacey, precise, potent.

Guardiola took a team that won the Treble and tried to change everything. If it aint broke why try to fix it? Javi Martinez in the box...would Ramos have got those free headers?

Not surprised really, Bayern looked vulnerable last game. In fact, they even looked vulnerable against us... which is something. Seemed to have regressed.

Hopefully Bayern will feel Pep is no the right man for them after this and then we will sweep for him.
Unlikely. But maybe they will want to sell a couple of players and go on a buying spree.

Bayern were such an existing team last year. Both against us and madrid they've been so dull to watch, and lacking in imagination.

Could be plenty more for Madrid here. Bayern have to go all out. They're open even when they don't so they could get torn to pieces here with Madrid counter attacking with the pace of Bale, Ronaldo etc.

fecking Pep.

Shows how poor the Bundesliga is, doesn't it? The fact they've won the league 3-4 weeks ago is baffling.

I love that it doesn't matter how good you are, you can still get annihilated by a CB thundering into the box.

I can't believe there are people who would want Pep tp get sacked and come to us.

You really want this kind of football for United.

That would be the perfect season ticket repellent.
