Ish
Lights on for Luke
Very true. Yet he tries to be such a "hard man"I don't mind Ramos. But Pepe I hate. He is a poor centerback and a thug who ironically has a low pain tolerance when he is tackled

It's sad that they do not use that great technology on the football itself more, I would love to see some great control, passes and technical skills on that slow motion.
The actual football takes a back seat.
I thought they were very average, no penetration added to their endless possession game. Real look in total control to me.lol at pepe's dive.
bayern are playing really really well
I do not want pep at united.
I really liked watching Barca in their prime years. But just because it worked for them doesn't mean you can turn every team in tiki-taka winning machine. Time will tell if Pep has something more in his locker, I suppose he will have to adapt pretty soon.I admire Pep for the depth and effectiveness of his philosophy but if all teams adopted his tactical style I think that I would stop watching football.
Wenger said it best when he described it as 'sterile domination'. It just lacks that magic that usually comes from freedom of expression on the pitch, that magic is usually why most of us fell in love with the game in the first place.
I seriously think Ronaldo is not interested in build-up play, his contribution decreases with each season. He has to do more in games like that.
No.I'm pretty new so im sorry if this has been asked before but...Am I alone in the fact I absolutely cannot stand Jamie Redknapp?
Is that a serious question? On a Manchester United forum!I'm pretty new so im sorry if this has been asked before but...Am I alone in the fact I absolutely cannot stand Jamie Redknapp?

I meant concede moreErm. Real are 1-0 up, mate.
That true, instead its all grimaces and face palming. So annoying.
No. It's a club with a lot of members.I'm pretty new so im sorry if this has been asked before but...Am I alone in the fact I absolutely cannot stand Jamie Redknapp?
being better than Ramos isn't saying much. Ramos is a fullback who was converted to a centrehalf because Real would rather spend money on fancy attacking players and because Spain has hardly produced top class defenders in the last few yearsPepe is not a poor centerback. He's better than Ramos.

It's a bit odd, considering Javi Martinez is sitting on the bench; is he not fully fit?If Guardiola stopped trying to be a smart arse, look-at-me hipster and actually played the best RB in the world at RB I'm not convinced that goal would have happened.

feck, have you seen the possession stats!
Can't catch the game but, just looked at the stats and Bayern have 79% possession in the first half? Some were quite critical of how un-United it was when we had very little possession at home against them.
Ancelotti is clearly copying David Moyes, the shameless bastard. Can't catch the game but, just looked at the stats and Bayern have 79% possession in the first half? Some were quite critical of how un-United it was when we had very little possession at home against them.
His pass basically created Madrids goal.
And made a total of 5 passes, the least of all players on the pitch. What you said is true, but my point is he should be more involved in the game.Except for the fact he played the pass to set Coentrao free for the Real goal...

What does this mean?
For now, how else would you counter possession? Especially when its so well drilled.Don't like the possession game that much myself. But to be fair Madrid is not even trying to attack Bayern players.
Very smart defending - minimizing the risk to conced a goal and focusing on the rare chances. That will be the future of football. For me the overall defensive tactics have evolved far more in the last years than any other aspect of the game.
not surprised Wenger has a name for it since it's what Arsenal has done for the past 9 yearsI admire Pep for the depth and effectiveness of his philosophy but if all teams adopted his tactical style I think that I would stop watching football.

You know how to turn a man on.Not fully focussed. Pre contract with United.
OK, that was a lie, but could be worth a bid.
