Romano saying Juve have no interest in swapping Dybala for Eriksen.
They want a striker. Plus they don’t need him as they are stacked in midfield.

Really? They played the Champions league final last year. Are in the champions league again this year, will be challenging for the title and have Poch as manager. We are very likely to not even be in Champions league next year.
Not too sure about that
They would sell to us because it doesn't look like the big two in Spain want him. Juve don't need him either so a swap for Dybala doesn't make sense. And with with time ticking in the window and Eriksen looking de-motivated from what I've seen in preseason. Levy might have to bite the bullet and sell him to us or keep a de-motivated player who will leave for nothing by the end of next season. So why would Tottenham be so willing to sell to us??
No they won’t. Spurs are bottlers, finished 3rd in a 2 horse race a few years back. Finished 4th last season when they were joint with pool and City until Christmas. Then they nose dived in the league and bottled 3rd place. Relegation form in the league towards the end and almost finished 5th.
We have young Gomes and have signed a young French player for a fee that will rise to €10m. So our youth policy is taking shape as far as play makers go.Poor last season and this preseason, great on his day but always looks uninterested.
I would steer clear and tell that slimeball Levy to go feck himself
Go get the next eriksen ffs, what happened to investing in youth policy?
What about Van Der Beek, chiesa, etc there's lots of options.
Also we need a defensive midfielder more than an attacking one. But ideally one of each
Didn't we also nose dive and bottle 4th place by not beating the likes of Cardiff and Huddersfield at home? Weren't we also showing relegation form towards the end of last season?
Player's head not in the game wanting future sorted shocker.Poor last season and this preseason, great on his day but always looks uninterested.

So does that also mean we’ll be title challengers then?
Didn't say that did I?
You left out the part of my post where I gave my justification.
My very simple point was that Spurs have performed better than us in the league over the past few years, therefore it is not so ridiculous to suggest that they can challenge this season. I also think Ndombele will be a good signing for them, which has the potential to take them up a notch.
Not sold on Eriksen personally. He’s a good player, but not sure he’s what the team need. I like a player who can go past a man personally. He’s a bit like a David Beckham player centrally. He has a wand of a right foot though (left isn’t bad either), and what I will say is that he’s a player I’d always trust to play the right pass when it’s on. He’s Kevin-esque with his delivery.
It's absolutely ridiculous to think signing Ndombele magically makes up a 25 point gap to City and Pool. They have an ageing CB partnership and their FBs are weak. There is no chance in hell Spurs will challenge for the league this year.
Do you not think we have enough players in our front four who can go past a player? Other than Pogba, who I assume will be playing deeper, I feel we lack someone who can pick a pass in the final third.
Better team, good football, CL finalists, proven manager who showed he can improve players.

The doom and gloom of some United supporters to think that Tottenham fecking Hotspurs have a brighter future than we do. Amazing how low some people will drop their expectations just so they don't get hurt if things don't go our way. Sorry, but I never have and never will view Tottenham as a step up to United...
They will use the money to sign Dybala they wont be weakened. If I were United, I would pay GBP 20 million over market rate. Erikson is a player who could weaken a rival and result in United finishing higher than Spurs this season and perhaps qualify for the CL instead of Spurs. I would bid GBP 70 million.
That’s a fair point. My thinking wasn’t really an ‘either/or’, perhaps I was being greedy by wanting both qualities.
And by ‘go past a player’, I don’t mean like Marcus Rashford. He’s no winger I know. But I mean like David Silva, or Iniesta basically. For that kind of role, where I guess he’d be playing. The extra dimension that is opened up by being able to dribble is huge in my opinion. And that goes for all the positions where a player is at the decisive/sharp end of play.

Maybe he will drop his demands to play Champions league football and have Poch as a manager. Will they be able to afford his outlandish wage demand?
Listen, I'm not suggesting that they are going to win the league, just that they have the potential to challenge. They have performed better than us over the past few years and have shown good progress, whereas we haven't. I made mention of Ndombele as I think he will be a good signing, nowhere did I say he is going to single-handedly get them 25 points on his own. You resorted to hyperbole. Therefore, I do not think it is ridiculous to suggest that Spurs can potentially challenge for the title.
Also, if you really think City and Liverpool are going to get the same points tally as last season, then you are the deluded one.
The intention isn't to put United down or underestimate the size, power and pull of our club, it was more to highlight that Spurs have made significant improvements over the past few years and they should be taken more seriously by a section of our fans, that's all. This isn't the Spurs of old.
If you want to continue to view things in such a bias way that you cannot have a reasonable discussion, then I do not see any point continuing this conversation.
For those that believe Danish and Norwegian languages are similar... You're right... When it's written. All Scandinavian languages are easily understood in text, but most Norwegians and Swedes have to talk English to Danes. We can however speak our own languages to each other...

Its not about the future is it? Its about now. Dybala for example is 25 now. He wants to join the better team now not wait for us to get back on track he'll be 30 by then.
