I posted something similar last night. It's no surprise that the noise around Eriksen starts up when the Donny van de Beek to Madrid rumours popped up. It's his agent trying to get Madrid involved.
You can ask the very same thing about him joining United. The only reason he would chose us above Spurs is $$$. Who? Eriksen is one of the best players in the world in his position. Tottenham are only considering a sale since its his final contract year and he wants to try something new. Eriksen is choosing to move on, not the other way around.

Would be astounded if this happened, would be a phenomenal signing but personally can see Spurs buying Bruno or Lo Celso and Eriksen ending up at a big European heavyweight (not us haha)
