What if we've run out of pens at Carrington and so whenever players turn up to sign, they physically can't. Woodward is making us look like mugs by firing the old Head of Stationery (which was Phil Neville's old job) and not hiring a new one. I think we should get Paul Parker (!) in to be caretaker until a proper replacement is found.

When people spend too much time thinking about something they end up going from 2+2 = 4 to 2+2=mindfeck.

Ed is trying to switch sponsors he wants the worldwide "Cabbage" franchise. Manchester United to be the first vegetarian team and totally wind powered. OT may even have wind generators atop the stands saving on electricity.

What next? Could our fax machine be repaired meanwhile? Probably not as we are still taking ages in order to prepare bids.

 Well done.

I dont see this thread as anymore idiotic than the repetitive nature of all other transfer threads. How many times does it need to be said that x player isnt good enough, or too expensive. Stick a poll up and be done with it.

Credit to the OP for trying something new.

 No.

Is this thread for real? I hope noone really holds that view, strange that the OP went AWOL .....

Commercial deals won't have power on any actual transfers, that'd be the craziest clause I've heard, a lot of these commercial deals are more structured towards us reaching certain targets etc to meet certain payouts, we wouldn't hold someone up to get a picture of them with the shirt on, that's backwards logic.
