What if we've run out of pens at Carrington and so whenever players turn up to sign, they physically can't. Woodward is making us look like mugs by firing the old Head of Stationery (which was Phil Neville's old job) and not hiring a new one. I don't think Chevrolet deal has anything to do with lack of transfers but the idea we might be willing to wait a bit to maximize our sponsors' return is not that stupid as many want to make.

I dont see this thread as anymore idiotic than the repetitive nature of all other transfer threads. How many times does it need to be said that x player isnt good enough, or too expensive. Stick a poll up and be done with it.

Commercial deals won't have power on any actual transfers, that'd be the craziest clause I've heard, a lot of these commercial deals are more structured towards us reaching certain targets etc to meet certain payouts, we wouldn't hold someone up to get a picture of them with the shirt on, that's backwards logic.
