Only because I want a reverse jinx, but they actually are a total mess with a spend of billions.
If ever a club should be expelled along with Citeh, Chelsea are it.
Feel free to lock/delete if this doesn’t work mods…

Id be furious if I was a Chelsea fan they’re unrecognisable aren’t they. The players, the style of play even the fecking ugly kit.

Ridiculous

They are a joke of a football club at present. Complete contrast to the ruthless efficiency of Abramovich.

Offside probably. But bloody hell chelsea still look shite.

Liverpool slicing through Chelsea. I have to say that the Chelsea XI didn't at all intimidate me despite how much they've spent.

They still have another 17 or so days to spend another 200 million

It feels kinda strange to see a Chelsea side with not many players I can recognise.

I’d much rather have Reece James in beside Enzo in a 4231 than using Gallagher. Could easily have Gusto at right back.

Maybe I'm old, or maybe it's that I don't consume as much football media anymore and I'm a few years sober from Football Manager - but I find it mad that they're not far from having spent a billion and yet they're not a team full of galacticos.

Get in.

Possible the worst debut I’ve seen and he’s scored an equaliser.

Hope he settles down now defensively.

Ugliest kit I’ve seen. Chelsea playing lousy. No chance in hell they can win Liverpool.

understand the rest - but don’t agree with the comment about the kit. I think it’s lovey

Chelsea grew into the game and Liverpool faded. Chelsea played well considering they miss Nkuku and Caicedo joining in near future.

They have Pochettino and are following his ideals. Things will be ok there. They will be a mess, if they stray away from that
How come the bloody sorcerer himself didn’t win today then?

They looked very good in the second half. They still have the same problem though - the front line is so wasteful in the final third. Don't think Caicedo resolves that for them.

I think they’ll finish higher than Liverpool but desperate for a goal scorer or two, can’t see Sterling sorting out his Chelsea goal scoring problem either?

Its incredible that Jose Mourinho is the favourite for the Chelsea job in 2024, 20 whole years on from the first time they appointed him.

I mentioned it the other day that I would like to see it happen. He is a character and would be good fun seeing him getting under the skin of Pep and Arteta.

Carlo found his mojo back with Real. May be Jose can too with Chelsea.

Please make it happen.

Twitter accounts circle jerking each other doesn't count as one source let alone multiple

You buy him Oshimen and the rest of the team is ready for Jose.

Good defenders, two DM's, a midfield passer, pacey wingers.

I am sure he'll win you stuff. Not sure if he still has it in him to win the two big prizes. But we'll find out.

Reckon they will click next season with a decent manager (to be honest I think they would have with Poch) as long as they don't have a bonkers window again and just sign a CF and CB. My outside bet for 2nd place.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Chelsea supplant Liverpool next season in terms of rounding out the top 3. They are a club on the exact right trajectory this year. And if they manage to land an elite striker like Osimhen, they'll be well on their way to competing for trophies.

Seems wild to even think about 2nd place from the position we're currently in

Mourinho is best with veteran players whose mentality matches his own.

I think he's a terrible match for this current Chelsea squad.

Mourinho would not be a good choice, so at Chelsea that makes him a likely one. Just when they started to play some decent football....

He doesnt have a Terry, Makelele etc... this time around.
