Cheap football kits

Got this PM from a newbie. He is talking about 9footballshirt.com.

Saw you posting about this website in the mains lad. Just thought I'd let you know I ordered 3 jerseys off the site about 1 month ago and never received the products. I emailed them and they said they would check at the post office to see what was going on and get back to me... Of course they never did... After emailing them several times after, they still never replied... Until last Friday, when I received a letter in the post from the Revenue, saying the goods had been seized as they are "liable to forfeiture".

That's just unlucky then, I remember when soccertriads was getting a lot of shirts seized, my brother got his no problem (okay it came later then usual but it still came).
I ordered a United away during the summer and it came after 2 weeks, and you can't even tell that its a fake really.

Shirts finally arrived. Great quality. Only complaint is that a small bit of the numbering shows texture of the shirt underneath.

My son has been sporting his S. Cazorla 19. £20 arrived in about 10 days. Looks authentic and didn't cost £65 + p&p from the club shop.

Well, lucky him.

The kids' kits finally arrived, but I can't report similar satisfaction unfortunately. We got different shorts designs for the two kits, the AON double the size on one of the shirts (and one made of different material too) and the other shirt is missing the black devil under the collar.

Considering they're selling full kits (up to 8 yo) in the official, I regret not buying there.

So, Xmas is fast approaching and I want to get some footy tops (and names on the back). Who is reliable?

Could anyone suggest any websites that you guys use? All the ones I used are not making them anymore.

Wanted a Dortmund away, but they only have M and XL. I've ordered a large Utd top off there and it fit fine. Bit wary of going for the M.

Just don't blame me if it screws up - the second kit was posted from Germany if I remember right

This is my experience with this lot, having ordered two kits for the kids.

Two identical kits were ordered:

I dont buy Football shirts for myself, I look a tool in one
But both my sons play football a lot and when they want a new kit I always buy original kits for a trusted store, I think you get what you pay for and the original ones last longer and you get you moneys worth.

I know that people have bought very good fake kits and they are maybe the lucky ones.

I've had excellent experience buying replica shirts before- less than half the price of the originals and the quality was good (and Nike tags to boot...). You are right that wearing them becomes ridiculous at some stage, and they just hang there most of the time.

It's the first time I tried maxxsoccer because they had kids' sizes, and you're right again...it appears that paying the full cost of the original is the lesser of two evils.

After seeing a kid in my class mercilessly bullied for having a fake united kit that his mom bought him, I'd never buy one should I ever have a son.

Kids can be very cruel and I'd rather pay an extra few quid to avoid any chnace of stigma. That said it's verging on ridiculous if you have a few kids and they want a new one every year!!

I was going to put those kits in their nylon wrapping on the kids' beds as a nice suprise gift, but eventually decided to open and inspect the kits first.

Needless to say, the kids never saw the kits to save them the disappointment. Thankfully, it was an easy job convincing them this season' kits were absolutely horrible, and that it's worth waiting for next season's. I actually hope Nike emulates this season's efforts!

Yes kids can be very cruel, I remmembr when I was a kid my dad was a tight sod and bought me a dodgy United top, I only worn it once.
Maybe thats why I dont buy dodgy ones.

Try 9footballshirt.com. I've dealt with them 3 times and i got them all in my mail within a couple of weeks, quality is decent as well. You wouldn't really be able to tell a fake from a real replica unless i tell you so

Cheers I will give them a try.
Dont get me wrong I want to save money like the next person, but dont want my kids getting the piss taken out of them.

They don't have kids' sizes, do they?

I'm buing some new retro kits from here http://3in1football.miiduu.com/

they look great in the pics so fingers crossed. shipped today with tracking number, looks like it is from Singapore. I love the old kits, my ones (mostly passed down from family members) are pretty tatty now and would rather keep them in one piece.
