Do we know what type of injury it was?
You would think if they have called an ambulance and have been delayed 45mins then it would be something serious, can’t see it being any other way and they wouldn’t have her on oxygen if it wasn’t bad. Has to be either, head, spinal or a break really or some under lying medical issue.Notwithstanding the massive delay and need of an ambulance, a reply on their Twitter says it's not too serious. Hope that's the case.
Do we know anything about the injury?
Only from fan twitter accounts really. There was a three way chase between the Charlton keeper, the Charlton defender and Charlie Devlin that ended up with Devlin scoring for us and the defender staying down injured.
Someone tweeted that it's reckoned just to be a rib injury, but she was having trouble breathing so they put her on oxygen. By the time the ambulance got there we had run out of emergency oxygen and Charlton had no stored supply. Hopefully there are no longterm effects for the player, and the delay doesn't matter too much in terms of affecting her recovery.
Wasn't our player it was a Charlton player. Agree hopefully she make a full recovery.Aren't there regulations about this sort of stuff? Edit: Just saw your above post, sorry.
I hope your player recovers well, because that... Sounds a bit worrisome, honestly.

’d ventere this is one of the situations that happens sometimes in the men’s game as well, but were the infrastructure in place at pro level football for men means that all we see is six people lifting the player onto a state of the art stretcher with oxygen mask on the side and then they are carried of the pitch and taken to the hospital while the match proceeds. Hopefully it was that kind of situation.
Anyone knows of the match is going to be resumed? Or maybe a replay or forfeit etc?
That's shit. So we lose our goal?Starts from 0-0. It was only a few minutes in when it got abandoned.
That's good news.Spurs succumbed to pressure and lost to Sheffield United despite holding the lead. Looking good if Charlton can get beat today.
Great. When I saw it was 0:0 at half time I had the feeling that it could end up being a draw - especially after us going up so early the last time we played Charlton before it got called off.Jess Sigsworth makes it 0-2 to United. We are going to the top.
Looking at their twitter account we have dominated. It only takes one flukey goal to ruin all that, so glad we have taken control.Great.
