On current form, there's only one team who will be doing the brushing aside, and we're not going to enjoy it.

Real would need a massive change in form, they were lucky last night.

Yeah - if we're not in the CL, you always want Barca, Real and Bayern to be doing well in it.

If they start to slip it allows cracks for your Liverpools and Citehs to start sneaking in.

If Barca had sinply turned up to that game, Liverpool would be going home I'm sure.

It will probably come back to bite me in the ass but watching this, you don't even have to be defensive against Liverpool just good enough to hold onto the ball against their press. Madrid will exploit this. Salah can't leave Marcelo flying forward against TAA. Ditto for Mane. Once Modric and Kroos play as they can it'll be a long night in the final.
 
Gah.... who cares about the CL anyway? It’s all about a real proper historic trophy.... you know, the FA Cup!

Also quite how us beating Roma in the quarter finals over a decade ago is relevant, I don't know. I still think Real Madrid at their best would have the edge on Liverpool but they haven't shown that this season, they've looked a talented but slowing side who despite having way more individual talent don't match up brilliantly against that Liverpool attack which is electric when given a chance to use their speed and quality (Bayern had so many opportunities over the 2 legs).

Liverpool are destined to win the competition. Madrid’s defending has been atrocious this season.

I do think people are overrating Liverpool now. It's not bitterness, Roma are genuinely shite.

Plenty of sides have shown you can stop Salah etc. Madrid might not be in top form this season but if they concentrate in the final, I think they're clear favourites.

Real will beat them in the final and will beat them convincingly 3 or 4 to nil. Yeah, they looked a bit sloppy last night but they’re the big boys of the CL. They know how to up their game, especially away from the Bernabeu. Let’s just chill, stop thinking about how it’s only Ronaldo that can stop them and look at the quality throughout their starting XI and how much better it is than Liverpool Football Club’s bar Salah and just breathe. No doubt lads.
