It seems as though Mendy and Valverde are not certainties to be ready for the return leg after all. Will be interesting to monitor that situation.
For sure, Tuchel has to rotate. Havertz, Ziyech, James, Alonso and Kovacic will likely be rotated in for Fulham.

You are overrating EPL way too much.
United is losing to Roma right now, who is 7th in Serie A, while United is 2nd in EPL.
And let's not forget that United lost to a team which is now 15th in the turkish league(out of 21 teams).
City being better than rest doesn't equal to the entire Premier League being better than rest.
PSG could perfectly reach top 4 in EPL.
Sorry but PSG are an average team with a sprinkling of world class players. However, as a unit they're as flaky as feck. In the PL they would be a glorfied Spurs.

In all honesty they prob would make top 4 but they would have to scrap for it. The evidence from european competitions this season suggest the EPL is by far the strongest league in europe at the moment.
Sorry, but an average team doesn't reach CL Final, and then a semifinal the next year (and still have chances to get to final).
United (who is comfortably 2nd in the EPL) got eliminated in group stage because they lost to a turkish team who is now battling to not be relegated in Turkey, and also because they lost a Bundesliga team who was never threat for Bayern title in Germany.
It's a bit ridiculous to imply that United is on the same level of PSG or even better, considering than the last time Man Utd reached UCL semis was in 2011.

United beat Roma 6-2, Arsenal are in the semis, Chelsea may reach the CL final as well. Only 2 years ago there was an all PL final in both competitions.
Bear in mind, we are well above another of the teams that is on course to reach the final, which highlights that the draw has a lot to do with it.
One of the three teams had to be knocked out, it was United thanks to the well below standard display in Turkey. The non threatening German team also beat PSG during the group remember. I think PSG would make top four in the PL, but it's not ridiculous to compare them to United- we even knocked them out of Europe when we were at our worst in 2019.
There were rumours that Real Madrid had planned to rest Modric, Kroos, Benzema etc for the league game this weekend, but I wonder what Barca losing last night does to those plans.
Will be very interesting to see what we do tomorrow. I would imagine SIlva, Azpi, Chillwell, Puli, Mount and Kante might get the day off.
Yeah, we have a large squad and Tuchel has shown he loves to rotate as it is. I would imagine we would see Alonso, Zouma, Ziyech, Havertz, CHO etc come in, maybe even get Kovacic some game time if he's match fit.

PSG are obvious not average, are just underperforming in the French League.
UCL is a competition of small margins, we had a horrible second half at OT against PSG, a stinker of a first half against Leipzig in Germany and a terrible match against Basaksehir in Istanbul. PSG lost to Leipzig away, lost to us at home too. We are not that far off PSG, they have better players upfront and more experienced players in the CL and that's about it as pluses compared to us. If we get a top class attacker and they lose Mbappe we are even steven.

Draws have a lot to do with it and also form at any particular moment of the season in a KO competition. I mean Spurs made the 2019 final. Doesn't mean they're not Spursy.

This season, they did get big names but Barca have been highly inconsistent and they got to play Bayern without the player that scores 50% of their goals. Even then how they won that first leg is a mystery to anyone that watched the game.

My point about PSG is that they're flaky in the way Spuds are (glorified also means better fyi.) For me they're that team that everyone thinks are just on the cusp of doing something, then bottle it in the final stages.
