Champions League Round of 16 (18th Feb - 8th Aug)

Lampard and Chelsea got totally schooled here. what a miserable time to be a Chelsea fan haha. Out of CL and even if they just have PL to focus on they Will be nowhere near CL spots
you realise we are currently 4th dont you?

Busquets, Vidal, Pique. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of guys.

It's been pretty obvious from watching the PL. Horrendous football mostly apart from Pool and City

How comes though? Considering the money involved in the PL, the league should be the best by miles.

Pique injured and both Vidal and Busquets miss next match because of red and yellows.

Chelsea, United and Arsenal all have amatuers as their managers. Spurs haven't invested well and have a washed manager.

I also think because all the other clubs in the PL have money it's not so easy to poach other domestic players as easily

Chelsea weren't that bad. Got into loads of good positions. Bayern can't afford to give anyone else the space they've given Chelsea here.Just shows you the difference top attackers make

Could be a blessing in disguise for Barca so their team isn't made up of 4 central midfielders. Could really do with a winger out there.

The season hasn't ended mate. Butload of games to go.
To say that they’ll be “nowhere near the CL spots” is just downright ridiculous though, especially considering your own patchy form and Spurs without a striker.

So surprised that the half-hourly murmurings of "Chowsay Chowsay Chowsay Chowsay" didn't inspire Super Frank's team to greater things.

Had to play Hoddle bingo instead.
How many ways can Hoddle say Bayern?
Barn. Ban. Band. Barren. Ba'an.

Excellent result and in large parts a very good game from Bayern. Nevertheless we let Chelsea create quite a few very dangerous situations.

You’d be raging if you were frank and you’ve seen two blatant reds not given by English refs and VAR and then that gets given in Europe

Games and performances like that are why it's a joke when Carragher calls Liverpool the best side in the world

I'm sorry but Mason Mount is absolutely shocking. He got really found out at this level. Had lots of opportunities to slip players through, cut back and pass and even some shooting spaces. Showed absolutely nothing and should never be a starter for either Chelsea or England if they have any ambition.

How much would Davies cost?

Well he only cost us 10 million :p
There is absolutely no way we will sell him. He is the big surprise of our season and arguably the best player besides Lewy, Müller, Thiago and Alaba.

He is also a very, very likeable and funny guy, go and watch his tik tok videos :D

They are the current holders of this competition though.

That was last season and whilst I find what they've done in the league this season outstanding they've shithoused their way to a large amount of their results

Proof tonight of how poor the current Premier League is. Yes Liverpool are probably the best team in the world at this moment in time, but when one of last years finalists and Chelsea are conceding 10 at home to a barely top-of-the-Bundesliga Bayern, who were easily dispatched by last seasons winners, I think that highlights how bad those 3rd place and down are relative to the Champions of the elite leagues.

The PL was by far the best, last season. All 4 European finalists were PL but there's no long term planning involved in the PL. Everything is short term so that kind of complete dominance was unlikely to last.
