Champions League Round of 16 (14th Feb - 15th Mar)

People name various players but Jardim is the real talent.
Yes! The team has good players no doubt, but it's Jardim who's getting the best out of them. Expecting them to come here and perform to their current standard is unlikely, in my opinion. I still wouldn't turn my nose up to the likes of Silva, Mbappé and Fabinho, though!

Why do we want City to lose? I want them to win so they have to focus on CL and not on top 4.

We need all types of ways to make it into CL next year...

not being mentioned from what i see but Lemar is also having a brilliant game, i know him as a winger so its very pleasing to see him perform in midfield 3 as well.

Wrong. It's about having the best players at the end of the day.

Monaco are a great team but they clearly have a lot of outstanding individual quality all around the side.

Yep, 100%. Underrated at Sporting Lisbon too

Nope. He's rated as the best manager our President appointed. Marco Silva won a portuguese cup and Jesus a Super cup but Jardim did unanimously the best work. Se were 7th before he was appointed

You feckers are gonna jinx it like the first leg
Won't be surprised if they do because I still expect them to get through. After that terrible first half performance, there's no way they will play as badly in the second half. They will just get through barely though. Think they will lose 1-2 or 2-3.

De Bruyne has been absolutely tragic this season but he bizarrely gets a pass because he doesn't dab. Great player but massively overrated in England.

Wrong? Jardim didn't inherited ready made players, he improves their fundamentals.

I've said this for quite a while, although he proved me wrong at the start of the season when he was super, to be fair to him.

Been pretty average of late, though.

Why do you even bother making predictions when you yourself should realize that you are a 100% pessimist with a skewed view of things?
Why does it bother you? And most people making predictions have a preferance.

I meant outside Portugal

Perhaps a lesson for Pep. Sometimes Defence is the best form of Attack.

Similar to Silva in his first few seasons. Amazing up until January

City on the ropes. Doesn't seem like Pep could fix stuff during half time.

How are City doing in the second half? I've stopped watching the game.

Barca unfortunately are a far better and bigger as a football club than us. Their achievements, the football, the players and this comeback day-uh-UM. People on here hate them as the peons over at west brom and co hate us. Cant stand to live in their shadows.

We might win a bit commercially I dunno.

If you had said Real Madrid then yes but Barca no. Also fecking cheer up
