Champions League Round of 16 (14th Feb - 15th Mar)

It will be very amusing if Leicester ends up as the only English team left in the competition. As much as I despise City, I always want English teams to do well in Europe.

Edit: Except Liverpool

Well Man City haven't had a sniff. I've never seen that from a Pep team. Anyone know why that is apart from the gulf in obvious quality between Bayern, Barca and City? Will he need a lot more players to play the football he wants to play?

Leicester must be watching the Monaco vs City match and hope they draw this lot. Monaco and City are easily the weakest teams left in the competition and I fancy Leicester to beat them over 2 legs.

I like Fabinho a lot.
Been Monaco's best player all season. Would be perfect for us, I'd take him over any of the rest of their players this summer. Mbappe is the biggest talent but he is not leaving Monaco this season so theres no point dreaming about it.

Mónaco is such an exciting and well structured team.

Arsenal could do worse than Leonardo Jardim.

Monaco would wipe the floor with Leicester.

I'm at a barbershop in moss side right now watching the game and when Monaco scored the goal that was ruled out I went "feck" and this guy goes "you want Monaco to win?" I was like "off course. I'm a United supporter" and he was like "so am I, but when they play away in Europe I want English teams to win" I had to say "can't relate mate. let alone with city. nah" so now it's a weird vibe in the barbershop

Only took the Germans 18 months to turn Chicharito into a skinhead.

:p

Why not? Is it the club, or the player that would be the problem?

Is City voluntarily allowing Monaco to play so high and inviting them to attack, so they can counterattack? Maybe it'll work for them in the end, but for now they look completely lost.

2nd shit cross from Koke. Must be watching us

Aren't City supposed to be a high-pressing team? They are giving Monaco too much time on the ball.

Don't think so mate. Monaco is the kind of team Leicester would relish playing, their attacking style is suited to Leicester's game-plan. Sit deep, press and counter. Let's not forget that French teams have a tendency to bottle as well.

Mbappe seems really special. Suppose we can't get him this summer. How long is his contract?

Don't know what the fuss is with Bakayoko. He looks like one of Monaco's poorer players in the few times I've seen him.

No chance Monaco willing to sell. Silva is the only one I can see them willing to sell and that will be harder than you think
Not that hard, just have to convince Mendes, who “owns” like half the team.
