Champions League Round of 16 (14th Feb - 15th Mar)

Don't you think that Barcelona and Real Madrid with their offence can do a lot against Leicester's defence?
Barcelona definitely! Have you been watching Real the past few months? Ramos is their greatest attacking threat.

What a boring tie. We basically got a free ride with Porto having a player sent off in the first half in both legs.

People may think it's a silly question, but as a United fan, if we were in that situation, what would you want?

I know I'd prefer to stay in the EPL.
Thing is, we have been fortunate enough to have won the CL before. Leicester, realistically will probably never have this chance again in our lifetimes. Think they'd definitely opt to win the CL.

Ok, they don't stand a chance against 3 teams we've knocked out of this competition in the last 2 years but they will against us? How did you work that out? Your hate for Madrid really is something else.
You have been grinding out results since the start of the season. While it shows you have a great winning mentality, it also shows something is wrong with your team. Apart from Eibar away, when was the last time you hammered an opponent?

Actually no. Rarely watch a Barcelona or Real Madrid match. Only El Clasico (sometimes) or if one of them play in a CL-final.

Not true on either point.

These CL sides can underestimate Leicester at their peril.
Well it's my opinion, they'll get smashed. And Sevilla really should have killed this off in the first leg.

Again, why do people insist on making concrete predictions about football? It is an absolute fool's game.

What an achievement.

Can't really look at it like that. Yes, Leicester have beaten Sevilla over the two games, but Sevilla should have probably wrapped it up in the 1st leg.
At least the La Liga Fan Boys have to come up with some new "facts" of their supposed superiority other then international scores

It is a silly question. Obviously you take the CL. You can get promoted back to the premier league easier than winning a CL. CL's are incredibly difficult to win.

Sevilla were rested and came into the game ahead. You've not factored anything into why they lost, or why Leicester present a genuine threat to certain teams remaining in the draw. There's also an X-factor in if the 2nd leg is at their home ground, which was absolutely rocking tonight and played its hand in how unsettled Sevilla were out there.

All these La liga teen boys Should get a good hard reality check.:lol::D . Overblown false propoganda

Buffon does not want Leicester, from post match interview.

I would compare them to us or Chelsea in the second part of the 2013 and 2015 seasons respectively. Clearly strong but just doing enough to get by with each game. Most definitely not a a frightening team. Add to that Ronaldo is nowhere near the world beater he once as and Bale's injury problems and you get the picture.

I simply think the quality of those teams will be too much for Leicester and any supposed x-factor from their home crowd will be irrelevant. I think there have been concerns about Sevilla going off the boil recently as Sampaoli does like to work them hard.

5000/1 Wanna bet?:lol::D

Leicester have beaten Pep Guardiola's Man City 4-2 this season. You never know what will you get with leicester.

Wow, that bad? Wonder how many "galacticos" they'll buy to "fix the problem"? :)

What's happened to Ronaldo - is he declining due to age? Or does he have some sort of injury and not being able to play fully fit?

This could be like the fairy tale of the Prem last season - Leicester City: CL winners. Never say never.

You said they 'don't have a chance' when clearly, the way they play is custom-made to unsettle a good amount of the sides remaining in the competition. Quality is only one component; the amount of running they do and the way they harass and the way they break; the pace of Vardy on the counter can cause a lot of problems for the sides who go all-in on attack. Pragmatic sides can nullify a lot of what Leicester do and put the onus on Leicester to try and play in a 50-50 game, at which point their quality, or lack of, can be properly exposed.

Yeah but they were so naive that day. Of course there's a chance but over 2 legs I just don't see it.
