Champions League Round of 16 (13th Feb - 14th Mar)

I am, just a young one, hence not really caring about what happened in the 80s.

Kin' ell lad . What a brave young man you are . I was on about a part of me would like Juventus to win it if we dont.

Barca act as if it a criminal act to touch them, really annoying.

Chelsea have played quite well tonight, might end 3/4 but at least they are having a go.

Did Willian really get booked for complaining about the wall? Messi is allowed to finger the ref

Barca a bit lucky again. 2 shots, 2 goals. Chelsea created more openings.

Messi's free kick is real I guess.
Lucky City got Basel, otherwise it would have been goodbye instantly had they got Bayern, PSG, Barca etc.

Spanish teams have won 21 out of their last 25 ties with English teams.

Its not just Madrid or Barca. As conclusive as it gets.

Ok? What's your point?.....Man Utd weren't insane favourites and didn't hand Sevilla the tie over two nights? Because they did...Sevilla weren't special.
And Spain have been incredibly superior for years....yet Chelsea have consistency been a nuisance to Barcelona?

Yeah, at no point did I think 5 teams in the last 8 was a thing. But the first ties made it kind of plausible to discuss, Chelsea and Spurs both got the results to make it possible. Man Utd embarrassed themselves though.

Chelsea with over 40% possession, more attempts at goal and 2-0 down at the Camp Nou. What world is this?

Valverde's Barcelona is the complete opposite of other Barcelona teams, they're incredibly cynical.

See how Barca just won't cross it. Always try and play it into the box intelitgently. Wish Man Utd had the brains to do that once a year.
And I wish people didn't have to refer to United every other post. We have enough threads to do that.

Valverde is very very lucky that Messi has been able to play all games and is the BPITW.

They're a very bland Barca side.

Much rather Liverpool win it that City.

Unbelievable stuff.
And endure years of "we've won 6 we've won 6". No thanks.

Hoping the Spanish or Bayern step up to the plate and knock both out, obviously.

Chelsea have been the better side barring a really shit goalkeeper. God I thought we had problems with Mignolet. De Gea would have saved both chances while doing the washing up.

Barca showing how incredibly slow they are through the middle. Busquets, Rakitic, Iniesta and when Paulie when he plays are the slowest midfielders in Spain aren't they? Hazard, Willian and Kante should keep running through them rather than pass. They'll score eventually.

Could you imagine how our fans would take it?

A couple of passes between centre backs is all it takes to get most fans losing their sh!t

Barca look vulnerable despite the result. Chelsea will score at least one goal, I'm sure.
