Champions League Quarter Finals | Chelsea vs Real (Tue) | Bayern vs City (Wed)

All this talk about great City and shit Bayern but it is Sane and this donkey at the back who made a difference. Sane missed 5 chances in 2 games and Upamecano gifted two goals.

Gotta admire Bayern's desire to not stick the ball in the net.

Also, always felt like Sane is a player that's flattered to deceive

Carragher making it sound like it was the most ridiculous penalty award ever. I'm a bit baffled. The defender turned his body away from the ball and his arm came out, it was completely avoidable. I can see why some might think it's harsh but it's not a bad decision at all.

Absolutely I mean his arm is right out after it started behind his back what else was the ref meant to do?

Vlahovic would have been a good fit for Bayern.

He hasn't scored much for Juve, but Juve under Allegri doesn't create half the chances Bayern does.

For me, you were the better team at their ground too until that 2nd goal with the mistake.

I dont think City beat Madrid in the semis. Madrid just wont miss these chances the same way.
I think so too. Benzema and Vini would have scored 2 or 3 goals with the chances we had in the first half.

This City Team will get slaughtered by a team like Madrid, who actually have players who can score.

The team plays without confidence. The disastrous WC for Germany and France cost us all momentum and mentality. Not to mention the season ending injuries to Neuer and Hernandez.
The team isn't the same which dominated the league and CL pre world cup.

Will there be anyone rooting for City against Real apart from their own and Barcelona fans?

Real will need to “save football” for the second year in a row and I can see them succeeding.
many rooting for them judging by the cheerleaders on here who keep telling us city have already won the trophy

He does the fundamental stuff well. I'd kill to have him in Manchester. Hope he falls out with Kahn at the end of season party
That’s the thing, he’s nice and tidy but doesn’t really impose himself which is something you would expect from a midfielder in a club like Bayern.

France reached the final, Germany got knocked out in group stage by Japan.

In other news, Manchester United Women are on the title charge and pretty much guaranteed to play Champions League football next season.

3 out of the 4 quarter-finals have been devoid of any tension. Let’s hope the semi-finals are more competitive.

Our bench is scoring more yellow cards than our strikers goals...

Haaland reminding the world that he used to play for Dortmund and that you're not allowed to have a good game in Munich if you want to respect traditions.
