Champions League | Matchday 6

Skillful play, no doubt, but you wouldn't call that individual brilliance. It came down to proper management and complete buy in to the manager's tactics.

Icardi on for Qatar. Desert country drawing with energy drink company

I really, really like Antony. Impressed me every time I have seen Ajax. Great player.
Sadly we're already stacked in that that department. Aside from that I would definitely want to see him in a United shirt. Him and Gravenbech.

Job done. Jurgen has to play weakened teams now in the final games, I mean league cup level, no 1st teamers. Hope he remembers the mistake of playing Jota against midgetland last season that ruled him out for months.

RB Leipzig was good value for that draw but helped along by Poch choosing to sit on the 2-1 lead than close the game out. For the last 30 minutes PSG had one attack on the counter that came from a misplaced pass.

Unfortunately unlikely given group games are worth 2 mill a pop for a win. We don’t have the squad depth for it but it wouldn’t surprise me to see us do it

Yeah, FSG want the $. No way will he be able to rest too many players.

You get about USD1.1m for a point in the CL. Qualifying from the group is worth about 11m and then as much plus another million or so for each stage you go through.

Unless I am mistaken, if Dortmund lose by two clear goals away to Sporting in MD5, Dortmund will not make the CL KO stages.

Don't think Poch would be good for UTD considering the talent he has at PSG & seems to be struggling in virtually every match they've played this season in all competitions, sure they've been winning games (just about) but even so...

Marsch is a trainwreck

I never thought he could have such a bad start, he's been with the company for basically all his career, he's been groomed to take over from Nagelsmann for years, the entire corporate philosophy and squad should be well in line with his own philosophy and he's even trained some of the current players before.
I would have expected some generic, uninspired, but somewhat stable pressing football as the bare minimum. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they are already readying Jaissle to take over in the winter break, hoping Marsch can make it until then.
