Champions League | Matchday 6

Really fancied city for this though didn't realise they're without Foden, DeBruyne and Grealish.
Not so sure now.

Haller is without a doubt the worst player to score this many goals in a CL campaign

He's always at the right place at the right time and scores his goals. I would say that are the key qualities a nr9 needs. Does he look very flattering on the ball - no. But a very effective player he surely is.

We've started like a team that knows they've already topped the group.

What is this sorcery whereby both these teams pass the ball in their own penalty areas without losing the ball?

Herrera is nice to watch. Opens himself around the pitch all the time even if he sometimes lacks the pace or strength.

There really is no need for linesmen to keep the flag down when the player is so obviously offside.

Poch can bring him back to United and send McTominay the other way

City have created a lot of chances without playing particularly well… cnuts

Messi really does do nothing off the ball.
He's lazier than Ronaldo these days. Ronaldo these past games has started tracking down as far as the midfield, Messi just plays like he is having a nice stroll in the park.

A City player actually getting booked for a first half tactical foul?? That’s a shock.

Edit: holy feck he actually got away with out a booking. That’s desperate refereeing.
