His trademark is his consistency, not brilliance (though he has some moments, and the bigger the game, the more often they come).
I understand from Kouroux posts and the press (I have rarely seen Monaco) that this hasn't been the case in Monaco. Rising up in the great matches though, for Portugal and now Monaco, so I suspect his lack of consistency is more of a motivation problem, after joining that crumbling plastic club.
