Henry "give me the money after"
That goal by González for Basel was awesome, great first touch and clever finish with the outside of the boot. Outstanding through ball from Fabian Frei that set it up.
I'm not sure. They had Liverpool in their group and got 4 points against them, while they're certainly far from world class this Liverpool side isn't really that bad. Of course they've lost some key players over the years (Shaqiri, Xhaka, Dragovic, Salah to name a few, Sommer too?) so understandably they'll get worse, it's just that they are still a pretty decent side.
Its all nice and well having a young squad but its rather pointless if those young players don't have the potential to become great players. Remember villa not so long ago parading a bunch of youngsters, people thought in a few years that the group would develop into a good team, instead they've become worse year upon year.19, 19, 19, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 26, 27, 28. Schalke's current XI.
Óliver Torres got a shoulder injury and will probably be out for some weeks.
How has he been for them?
He has been great and an instrumental player in Lopetegui's setup. It's almost a certain he will become a great player. His technic, his vision and passing are something else for someone his age. Needs to bulk up though. Atlético loaned without an option to buy, so they certainly count on him for the future.
Yaya has been beyond useless for City in Europe, they are most likely better off without him.I was thinking about what team City might put out, whether they'd play Yaya or Silva off Aguero throw Dezko along side Aguero. Just watched a video and turns out Yaya is suspended. I was thinking they might get something if they don't play too open but without Yaya, think they'll find it tough.
You must have not seen the first leg between Chelsea and PSG to believe that PSG have no chance just because they didn't win the first leg. As a matter of fact, I'd say PSG are favourites.Just like with PSG, Man City have to win the home tie otherwise they'll have zero chance to go through. Cannot wait to see Messi make them look likes fools.

Barca and Chelsea are two different animals altogether. One is an elite team while the other one just isn't. City are going to have their work cut out for them and their midfield is going to have to put in a shift and a half to protect their defence while the attackers are going to have to be at their very best to make the best out of the opportunities that they get.
City IMO will most likely win the league if they continue to set up how they did vs newcatsle for the rest of the season, especially if Bony hits the ground running. However I just don't think they are good enough in transition to really hurt barca. A lot hinges on Aguero and just how much he'll get from the barca defence. Plus I've never seen them as a team that's great at being organised and sitting deep which is probably the only way to not get dominated by the barca attack. Certainly going to be a very interesting match.
PSG favorites, stop smoking pot my friend.
Last season they were even stronger, had a more favorable home result and still ended up losing the tie on away goals. You cannot judge the tie but just watching a home leg, that's just stupid. Chelsea had a fantastic result and will qualify overall. The match content was great but the result is just not enough for them to take to Stamford Bridge.
They might've been stronger in your opinion but they didn't play as well vs chelsea. Mind you, chelsea were extremely fortunate to get through that tie. Ibra didn't play in the second leg too and we all know his importance to the french outfit. How chelsea went through the second leg without conceding is still a mystery. Let's not act like it was some fantastic second leg home performance that somehow shows that chelsea turn into a significantly different team at the bridge.PSG favorites, stop smoking pot my friend.

He's not a great player to have when he's up against Euro midgets who will pass the ball around him for 90 minutes.Yaya has been beyond useless for City in Europe, they are most likely better off without him.

Anyways fact is PSG dominated chelsea in the first leg much more than they did last season. Didn't over commit in attack and still posed a significantly bigger threat. Chelsea don't look as solid as they did last season and their defenders seem to have gone down a level. In midfield they looked a nothing team, and Fabregas is obviously a defensive liability there.
Another thing is last season PSG went into the second leg feeling as though they had something to protect, now they don't have that and will play to win.
This time it feels far more like the atletico tie last season rather than the psg one which the teams looked pretty much on the same level. This time chelsea just looked the inferior side.
Yep. Similar to our matches against them in the league cup really. Liverpool/PSG dominate and are the much better team, yet it will be Chelsea that progress.
And the press will blame it on Demichelis.Kompany will getting sent off for giving Messi a bear hug.
