Champions League Knockouts (12 Aug - 23rd Aug)

Surprised at how much fun Atletico have looked so far. More aggressive than normal.

What do people think about getting Nkunku, if Sancho doesn't happen? Great delivery, great at passing, really quick feet and versatile.

I agree. Think he'll have a choice of quite a few clubs if he keeps progressing the way he is, though.
Yeah. Stories in Germany were, that he was close to join Bayern. But they didn‘t want to spend the 58 mio € for him. He signed a new contract but only till 2022 with a inserted release clause for next summer and better wages. Looks like he has sort of an agreement that he will be able to leave in summer 2021.

Don’t get gassed by the system. The majority of these players aren’t that good.

With the way Madrid have been going in for headers in this game so far in this game, that's not really a surprising result.

Good player, but he is more a central midfielder deployed on the wing than a pure winger with dribbling capabilities who would score a lot of goals

A defensive error from Upamecano saw him leave a gap for Llorente to run into. Fortunately for him, his pace meant that he could get back and recover from his error.

RBL is collectively better than PSG and Atalanta - but I am looking for the serial killer in this team

Nagelsmann is suuch a great manager. He has a clear vision of how his team should play football and his teams always show it. No surprise Real wanted him badly.

Apparently wants a Premier League move in 1-2 years.

Atletico are way too deep and giving the Leipzig players way too much time on the ball. They'll eventually be opened up if they aren't careful. Leipzig need another runner to be more potent, though; they have too many players coming towards the ball instead of making runs beyond the defensive line. Poulsen's the only one in the box in most situations.

Considering his age, I hope he stays at RBL for some more years before making the big move.

Leipzig playing cute football but they're not cutting Atletico open. Need more movement in the box.
