Champions League Knockouts (12 Aug - 23rd Aug)

Gnabry is the best finisher in the world from the right wing. He's absolutely lethal once he gets a chance at goal

A great strike by Gnabry there. Harsh on Lyon as they had dominated until that goal. Suppose its the same as us the other night, got to take your chances when they come.

PSG front three will have a field day against Bayern if they persist with this high line in the final.

Lyon plays it perfectly against a pressing teams. Reminds me of how Reals Ancelotti beat Peps Bayern years ago. Just give them the ball and wait for the chance to counter.

Bayern are the best side in this competition I would be very surprised if they don’t win the whole thing. The Germans are ruthless!

To be fair, Gnabry never showed anything to suggest he'd be this good when he was at Arsenal.
Makes one wonder what Bayern saw in him though. Somehow they did think he had a lot of potential.

We should break the bank for Gnarby instead of Sancho. Not that Bayern will sell or he will come. But would be good.

Meh. Looks like game over to me.

As a side note, how fecking good is Gnabry? I don’t recall him being anywhere close to this good when he was in England.

As if Barcelona have to pay Liverpool another 10 million if Coutinho wins the Champions League with Bayern because they didn’t specify the club he wins it with in the contract

Of course not. He had a season at Bremen and one at Hoffenheim, where he was a starter and made great improvements on loan. Then Bayern first team

Why do we want Lyon to win? Don't we want Bayern to rape PSG? At least they are not plastic club.

It's a strange one, I don't think anyone ever thought he would be this good. I was reading through the Gnabry thread and in 2017 even the Germans on here thought Gnabry would be a squad player. Funnily enough they wanted Alexis instead. Imagine if that had gone through
