I've been corrected (it was 2 hours... Which you'd think is fine) but for a major final when you know there will be loads of security and extra fans without tickets, I don't think one hour would be sensible.
I suppose an hour wouldn't be enough if tonnes of fans are still queuing to get in, but you'd also hope that when you got to the stadium that the officials had done their jobs properly.

If it turns out that the delays were mainly because fans without tickets were trying to get in then I rescind my main point, but otherwise the officials taking their sweet time are the biggest problem for me.

I should note that I always turn up late for major sporting events, usually pished out of my skull in a kilt and Braveheart face paint. And that includes the time I went with my cousin to support England against Wales in the Six Nations a few years back.

So the Madrid fans have all been in, with actual tickets, for an hour+, yet the scouse rats are storming the gate and fighting with each other outside. God I hate that club and everything about it. Vermin, who are too stupid to learn from their history.

If I tuned in without knowing what that was I would’ve thought it was the super bowl. Europe stop trying to Americanise everything challenge.

Talk sport are saying the poor Liverpool fans all have tickets but the police are pepper spaying them for no reason at all. Mmm?

When did they start with this pre-game music? It seems like I haven't watched the beginning of all CL games since '08.

A journalist would have to be exceptionally brave to even hint at any wrong doing from any Liverpool fan here.
It'll all go down as organisation issues, authorities etc
And unfortunately It's not helping anyone (even though I understand that's the last concern of a journalist), it's been what 40 years since heysel? And they keep getting themselves in trouble ever since.

It's bound to end up in an another disaster in the future.

Do americans actually enjoy this pre-match nonsense?

I can do with less of this.
