Bad result for Villa that.
Was he in goal for Arsenal for the 8-2 game? Why did they get Szeczsney again? Surely any academy keeper would do better than this clown?
I think he was. Maybe his brain broke that day.Was he in goal for Arsenal for the 8-2 game?

Isn't that a massive dive ? No touch and he jumps way above the keeper
It pains me to say it but he's a very good player. Best left back in Portugal by far. If I was United I would definitely get him back.Álvaro playing really well.
Would be want to come back though? It pains me to say it but he's a very good player. Best left back in Portugal by far. If I was United I would definitely get him back.

@Sly might have ulterior motives here.I would, too. I really don't get it, if we prefer stronger athletes to him, especially if they are going to cost more.
The TNT commentator seems to be simultaneously arguing goalkeepers shouldn't come out for that type of play, szczesny didn't touch the Benfica player, and that it is still a penalty. I may be interpreting him a bit uncharitably ln the first point.
Edit: Actually, I think that's Sky.
I think so. United have the option so it's not like he would be too pricey. Same as Amorim, they were confortable here but playing in the PL in a club with United stature is too good to turn down.Would be want to come back though?
He was a mile onside, to be seen within a split second.Did VAR check that Liverpool goal for offside?
Those things can all be true though.
@Sly might have ulterior motives here.
Did we let him go or just he wanted to be playing?
Nah, I'm really talking as an United sympathizer. He's a very good player. He's having an incredible season not only here but also in CL. His performances against Atletico Madrid and now Barcelona have been top notch.
