Certain leagues didn't really have 30 something games and it might be hard for certain players to hit the 20 match mark, so perhaps this rule could be amended a wee bit? Percentage or something like that perhaps?

Well not everyone has submitted their blocks yet...so you still have time to think about it.

That's not the issue. Even after the blocks, there are so, so, so many options. I don't know how to even build my team and where to really start from. There are so many possibilities!
 
so i see the two votes per manager rule has been dropped :D

Make it a season at a club. It will be nigh on impossible to check 25 games or 15 or whatever it is for every player. It's already ahrd enough with the current ones. Take Di María, did he play 25 games with Mata? And Rooney? Have fun checking out every single one of his 32 shit games last season. Now imagine how hard ti will be for lesser teams/leagues in the XXth Century.

Yups, this is a terrible draft to start first in. Little or no upside from going first and all the downside from waiting 30 picks after. The good thing is being at the turn you should be able to sync some nice pairs without anyone having the chance to mess with you.

For a moment today I thought about playing this just to do some guerrilla shit going around taking away the best options from other teams (whichever could be intercepted in time before their turn). Then I realised it would be too hard and I'd probably manage it once or twice only.

@Edgar Allan Pillow one thing you need to rule on is how the nationality card will work.

Stupid example: you pick Ashley Cole, then Campbell, then you action the country card and pick Rio... can you? Rio never played with Cole at club level but did at national level which is the relevant link here.

Yes. It breaks all club link that are required in a normal pick.

Pick 8: Ashley Cole
Pick 9: Sol Campbell
Pick 10: <National Card Played> Rio Ferdinand.
Pick 11: Tevez (United link - Player should have played at club level with Rio Ferdinand.)
Pick 12: Asamoah (Juve link - Player should have played with Tevez and not with Rio at club level)
and so on...

Can you play?
