Censorship

Anyway Mick, here's a screenshot showing the state of the thread and its Moderator log (I've blanked out who moved the thread because it's not my place to say). That log shows every action performed on the thread by a moderator.

It was simply moved into the FCUM forum at the time shown. You deleted it.

I mean, everyone has to be able to express their opinion, else it defeats the point.
I'm all in favour of heated debate. Hopefully people actually take in each side of the argument, and you end up with less ignorant hatred as a result.
On the other hand, if it gets too heated, people just end up getting worse.
I've yet to come across an extremist ideal that doesn't scare the shit out of me.

Seperately, it's also a slight concern when a thread titled "Did Hitler have the right idea?" turns into a serious debate

It's actually a quite old message that I have not got round to reading but have kept because I do want to read and reply to it, because it's an RE: on something, but it will take about an hour for me to reply to.

Jesus, this is getting stupid.

Why would anyone delete a FCUnited thread ffs? It was obviously deleted accidentally - but mods can't delete a thread, and then falsify the records to make it look like someone else did it.

And why the feck do people who constantly whinge (mentioning no names, but Van for one) bother to come here at all?

It sometimes looks like censorship is being fabricated to make mods look bad. I haven't fecking censored or deleted anything for weeks. :mad:
 
So who's banned from the CE then?

If people are getting silly in there (I don't know, I very rarely look at it), then....

Debate is fine

The Isreal stuff is a bit difficult. There's strong and somewhat scary views on both sides, which I can't really comment on as I know little of the exact situation. The whole thing is nasty
I suspect Wibble is trying to prevent any potential fallouts. It's an unfortunate situation, but occasionally maybe people need to be told to take a step back, and think about what it is they're saying exactly
