seems that now you are not allowed to post the words FC United in the Manchester United forum
Yesterday I posted a thread in the forum aimed at Manchester United fans yet it has been deleted by the thought police
seems some mod is that small minded or power crazy they just delete what ever they want without any explanation
 
I can't see any deleted thread in the MU forum Mick....there is a thread in the FCUoM forum you deleted.

If the thread you are talking about was called "FC United of Manchester - One Year On and Thriving" you did delete it.

It was posted in the MU forum and Wibble moved it at 00:36, 11th Aug 2006 to the FCUoM forum where it was deleted by you.

Do you want me to open it again?

You posted an article on FCUM in the United forum, other posters picked you up on it and basically called you an attention seeker. A mod (not me) finally moved it to the FCUM forum and you deleted it yourself.

But of course we're the ones that are just small minded and power crazy and do all the deleting around here eh Mick?

First of all I didnt delete it

so it was moved then because someone was whinging about it even though it was about united fans as well if people cared to read it
so I'm an attention seeker just because I dont fit in with everyones aggreement
If thats all you want on here
Every one just just licking each others arse just to agree with each other well theres not much point of being on here then
no wonder this place has lost so many good posters over the last few months

It's lost some right numpties too though mick. I merely picked you up since like so many on here you are quick to slag off the mods but slow to pick up on things like the fact we created the FCUM forum to avoid people whinging in your threads like that and the incessant bickering or that you clearly did delete your own thread and then bitch about us over it.

You did delete it by the way, or is the evidence above not good enough for you?

one I dont know how to delete a thread a post yes as far as Im aware only mods can delete threads
if that was the case there are posts in the FC forum that I would have deleted for being out of date etc

You can only delete your own posts/threads and this is what you did on this occasion Mick.

Anything to do with FCUoM needs to be posted in the forum opened especially for that subject....it means we can easily restrict access to the FCUoM topics if anyone is merely there to wind people up.
 
You may have deleted the thread inadvertently Mick, easily done...I have done same on many occasions.

Anyway no biggie, do you want it opening?

As I've said it wasnt deleted by me

Even though it had a title about FCUoM the last part was also about United fans thats why it was posted there
but it seems you can not now mention both in the same breath without people crying about it
FFS what are you meant to do copy half the article in one forum then post the second half in another

As you can see by the screenshot, there is no question you deleted it Mick...maybe by accident.

The right place for the thread IS the FCUoM forum and being there doesn't stop anyone from joining in the discussion.

In fact being there it is likely to get a better discussion with less WU's from the anti FCUoM brigade.

If you delete the "first post" of the thread created, it deletes the whole thread.

If you start a thread then delete the first post it removes the whole thread. Ask Robbo if you don't believe us, many a morning he would come in and spend hours deleting all the defamatory shite he had typed staring through the bottom of a bottle the night before.

How anyone can moan at the Mods in here is beyond me....3 mods here giving excellent service to a long standing valued RC member.

Unfortunately many can't read past the words FCUM and your thread had just become another bitch fight, which I assume is the reason Wibbs moved it to the FCUM forum where the rabid antis could not continue their bitching.

If the message had been deleted by any of the mods, the screenshot would have shown the name of the mod concerned...It's not something the mods can alter.

Then doesn't that mean it belongs in the football forum, now that opposition threads are supposed to be posted there, not the United forum, even if they are United related?

At least that was my understanding of how it was going to work...
