Which is what shocked everyone as to why a snicko was even required since the edge was soo visible and audible... The commentators and pundits were a bit baffled as to why the third umpire was brought into play, and the only reason anyone could think off really was whether it carried to the keeper or not...

Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those who think Sachin is past it. I beleive test cricket is more important for any great player, so I want him to concentrate on it more. He can stay injury free if he retires from One day cricket.

i agree with you on this....too much of one days will eventually take its toll on him.. would appreciate if he plays less ODI's..and i for one want to see him to leave on a high!!.. my only fear is i might stop watchin cricket when he finally retires...no dsirespect to the current lot... but an indian team without sachin is not sumthing i am gonna accept that easily..
