Other than Clark, really fecking average. Although Johnson certainly has the potential to become great.

Shame MacGill can't get his head around bowling in ODI's the same way he does in tests.

20/20 has its place. 1 off games like this where its all fun are great.

Especially when India get fecking smashed like that. Pup was sensational. Gilly's running commentary was the best thing on the pitch though "He's eyeballing me...he probably thinks I'm sledging him."

Izzy in the change of innings was ridiculous as well.
 
I like t20 cricket. I really enjoyed the match tonight, obviously because Australia won but it's great entertainment. The players had a great time, sell-out crowd, fantastic atmosphere.

I think it is also a good advertisment for the game, especially the kids. When you grow up all you want to do is swing at the ball and hit it for six. This is what this is, a 3hr game of fast paced cricket, that hopefully is motivating kids to get into the game

In saying that, I would much rather watch a test match, or a one-dayer though. Hopefully getting myself to the match on Sunday at the Gabba. A mate has members passes, so free tickets are always nice :)

Sharma played some cracking shots. Gambhir, Uthappa, Tiwary all have the talent.
 
How come Ganguly, Laxmann and Dravid don't play ODI's?

They're clearly good enough.

Some cracking shots don't win you matches.And talent is an overrated virtue.It's all about performance...and if you can't perform from the word go there's something wrong.Tiwary was looking mediocre out there, couldn't handle the pace, didn't even get behind a straight ball.No doubting the fact that he's got talent, if he's reached the team he surely must have, but you can't rely on newcomers on a bouncy pitch against the Aussies.There's a reason why Dravid was thought of as a batting mainstay in the two formats of the game...a few iffy games don't take away the fact that he's probably the best player in our team in the past decade, just behind Sachin.Not picking him was a rubbish decision.
 
Made heavy weather of it.Good bowling performance though...that Sharma's pretty good.
 
Our batting needs to improve. Yuvraj's out of touch. Still not convinced by Sehwag. Sachin looks in great touch but in the last match, other people got him out by not giving him the strike. He went though spells of 5 overs with only facing 5-6 balls.
 
Poor performance by batsmen. Pathan at no.3 obsession needs to end, especially when you have someone like Uthappa at no.7 who has not played at all in most of the games. We really ought to have won this one, especially given they were without Lee.
 
Poor batting display. Still, there were positives to take from the game. Our bowlers have been really on top of their game. I still don't like seeing Sreesanth in our line up. The man is a gimp. And I wouldn't mid seeing Bhajji being replaced by Chawla.

It'll be interesting to see what happens to our attack once RP and Zaheer come back. I'm sure Sreesanth will get the boot but who'll be dropped between Ishant and Pathan?
 
Zaheer would have have to earn his place back now. RP would get in for sure.
Ifran would always have the edge in ODs due to his batting.
 
Squeezed threw today. Almost threw it away. Bowlers did well again, batting needs more improvement. Best news being Yuvi is back. I have a good feeling about this series, think we may hit the peak at the right time and do the aussies in the finals...
 
I think we'll get spanked in the finals. Was good to see Munaf bowl well. I hope he keeps Sreesanth out for the rest of the series. I'd like to see Sehwag brought back but the five bowlers option seems to be sort of working.
