Smart move. Get the paper signed before he realises he's signed for the "other" Manchester team.
However, it also helps when the player hasnt been defrauded by his employers leading to an overly complicated exit scenario. I'm not sure if the player and his agent or Barca misled our people more but we definitely got led up the garden path there. We were naiive obviously and held on for longer than we should have but somebody at their end was definitely screwing us over giving assurances that were clearly fanciful in the extreme. .It helps when a player actually wants to leave
With Varane we all knew he had struggled with injuries. And it was a big name in a position which wasn't our biggest need. But still if fit he's our best CB without a doubt.Very similar to the Varane hype.
Gonna be so refreshing having an injection of tenacity and big balls in midfield again.
His leadership on and off the pitch and work ethic will be absolutely vital in the sorry dressing room we currently have
Bit of a Schrodinger’s element to it, though. One of our players is only good enough to get into the team while simultaneously being our player but having never quite been here yet. Because as soon as he arrives he’ll jump right into the clown car and start getting his foot stuck in buckets mid match. The best bit will be right before we open the box.when someone asks 'How many Inited Players get into City and Liverpools team, we can rapidly say. Casemiro.
the best DM in the world. what a signing if this is true
Not muchBut have they not given the money for transfers , £1b at the last count, its just been spent badly.
Some fans will lap it up.This goes way beyond a few nice distractions
You sound scared of your own shadow mate.
What do you actually want? he’s literally the premier DM/holding midfielder in the world. He can come in now and make an immediate improvement. He’s got a fantastic unity record and can give us 3-4 years at the top level. The club can afford him and the reports of doubling his wages have been dismissed.
I feel some of you just love to moan.
Yeh, I could easily say it the other way....he was 29 back in JanuaryStrange way of saying he’s 30

So he’s 20…. but already word class…. and even though world class, he’d come to us on low wages?I hear you but why can’t we sign a 20 year old, proven world class player, and sign them quickly, for a good deal, and on low wages because they are dying to play for the badge, though?
Just seems like another shirt sighted transfer brought on by two defeats.
At least he'll generate clicks and sell shirts though ffs. For the record I didn't want FDJ either, would much rather Caicedo.
SadlyIt'll work too.
"#EmptyOldTrafford? Nah, they're parading our new Champions League winning midfielder before kick-off."

Name him.
(unless sarcasm)
Spanish journos are saying we have, close to 70 which was their valuation all alongHuh? How can he have a medical when we didn't even agree a fee with Madrid? Did I miss something?

Basically the only combination that would satisfy everyone in our, at times insane, fanbase.

The fee isn't expected to be a problem.Huh? How can he have a medical when we didn't even agree a fee with Madrid? Did I miss something?
