it's not surprising, pretty sure they said last night that him and Varane have lost way more Classico's than they've won, so it probably felt great to beat them.

It feels like when Real sold Makelele to Chelsea. He wasn't a flashy player but they missed him massively and it benefitted Chelsea hugely

Bruce is arguably, and at this point probably undeniably, the greatest rocker of all time.
They tried to resist but he wanted a new challenge so they honored his wishes and gave him a very classy send-off ceremony/farewell.

Not just an incredible player, but a ridiculously likeable guy as well. Elite mentality. The clips going round of him on social media avoiding the bust up after Bruno smashed the ball at De Jong are hilarious too. He was having none of it after the palace game

After that he'll be 33/34 so might only have a year left.
Lots of midfielders perform at a high level til 35 so hopefully we get that.
He's had very few injuries in his career so far so touch wood it continues.
