Crap pass for their equaliser, then almost decided to put it in his own net later on - he was very lucky it bounced off the post and then didn't fall to a Barca player for a tap-in.

Indeed. For all the good he did, he was also sloppy with his passing. The one leading to the 2-2 goal obviously the most visible one. But he gives so much to our playing it's incredible. Compare tonight with the Leeds games with our midfield hiding behind opposition players.

Yeah, fantastic game but the pass for the 2nd goal was.... dreadful. It's something i'd expect of Fred but not him.

Nope - he was good but sloppy at times, not for the first time either, the good outweighs the bad by a long while but it shows he's human and not perfect
Was excellent for the most part but almost scored a comical own goal and fecked up the simply give and go which led to their equalizer (and could've scored in the first half but didn't connect his header well). He'll do better next week.

Would have competed with Rashy for MOTM were it not for his sloppiness for their second goal. Love the guy.
Had a monster DM performance but then made a costly mistake. His pass to Fred for Rashford's goal was also excellent.

He got sloppy when we were leading. I don't know if it was over confidence from when he cleaned up and then won the GK, or just being too lax that lead to the equaliser?
We are massively poor in comparison without him though. Our midfield overall just looks different with him in. Hopefully he just concentrates on the second leg and final now

Its not his game at all. This is exactly how he played early in the season before he got up to speed

That second goal sucks, but he was very good for the rest of the game. Very important for us, the midfield can't function without him.
Not at this level no. Its how he looked when he first got in the side. His passing usually is one of the best in the side
He is always a bit sloppy, it’s just never costed us really, with that much composure it just surpasses his technique sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t.

I suggest you go and re-watch some games, you'll find lots of examples of sloppy play, it doesn't detract from how good he's been but to say it's never happened you must be wearing some seriously rose tinted glasses

Look at his passing percentage in most games.
He's a fantastic footballer but he's sloppy and takes risks with his passing all the time.
Taking risks with passing and being sloppy are not the same thing. If you don’t know that… look at KDBs passing percentage and then call him sloppy then
