Carroll could make shock loan return to Newcastle

But they'd have to pay higher wages to a worse player and deal with his woman-hitting behavior. I just can't see why they'd want him. They should take Diouf out on loan. It would be a better way to spend the money and resources. ;)

The article specifically states that they are looking for cover for Ba when he's at the african cup of nations, so Ba being better is neither here nor there.

I'd agree, Diouf would be a much better signing, he won't be at the ACN will he?

I'm from Birmingham.

Yep the rumour is that Bent is really unhappy with his life at Aston Villa..........he has a bad relationship with McLeish and he was totally pissed about the sales from Young & Downing in the summer.

Seems like a right moaning cnut does Bent.

Mcleish isnt too popular with the players at Villa I wouldnt solely blame that on Bent

He left Sunderland by complaining he didn't really like the area too. Sound like just a moaning cnut in general. Not just because he doesn't get on with his awful manager.

Reading the article is for suckers! :wenger:

I don't think the newcastle fans will welcome carroll back either, beside they got a better striker in Ba.

Bloody hell, did you just ignore what the article says about Ba, even though the last couple of comments on this thread have discussed it, and how not reading it can mean you miss the important factor that they are talking about Carroll as being able to cover for Ba when he goes off to the African Cup of Nations? Read the article, or the thread.

We should warn Liverpool that Diouf is available for 20m while Owen will be theirs for 15m.

Id love for Carroll to go back to Newcastle and start scoring goals. Would be brilliant. Only cos hes at Liverpool im enjoying seeing him flop. Him being back at Newcastle and scoring would be good.

Surely not... that would be fecking hilarious.

They could take him as another option, but I don't really see how he would help them. They've got Ba, who is a much better striker, and at the moment, I'd even go as far to say that Best looks like a better striker as well. They could take him as backup, however I don't see why they'd loan a player out if they don't plan to play him.

Seriously cheesy? Read the article. It clearly mentions cover for while Ba is at the African Cup of Nations.

Forgot about that completely. Wouldn't be too bad a move then, if Newcastle can revert back to the style of play that managed to get Carroll goals, even if only for a short period of time.

Doubt this would ever happen, would be embarassing for Liverpool as it pretty much admits he's been a shite purchase. Kenny keeps saying how good he's been playing but if he sent him out on loan, that'd debunk that myth. Also they'd be foolish to let him go now seeing as Suarez is banned, as I doubt they'll sign Bent personally. Would pretty much right off Carrols career at the club.

Can they write this transfer off as charity, the whole Andy Carroll business?

Spurs took both Defoe and Keane back.

I would imagine Torres wouldn't desire a return to Liverpool - he'd probably feck off to Spain on his next move.

Diouf would be a good loan move for Newcastle (though devilish rates him as no better than a souvenir salesman and that might not be good enough for the club's ambitions).
