Name one British keeper who would survive at or is good enough to be at Old Trafford? <img src="graemlins/smirk.gif" border="0" alt="[Smirk]" />

Actually, this whole playing Boca thing "because they have been very good with us over the last two years" or something like that... It stank of Cordoba to be honest.
Another case like the ones I mention in the loan thread. Boca couldn't afford his wages and he wanted out to try European football before he gets too old. Boca loaned him to Perugia expecting Colombia to make it to the WC and him to shine. It didn't quite work out, did it?
Playing Boca could be a part payment for him coming on a transfer or on loan. Otherwise I can't quite see the point of us playing them! (except for sending a very expensive message with regards to Veron).
If (a big IF) Barthez were leaving, Cordoba and Carini would be a good partnership, the best two SAM goalkeepers over the last five years by far. Two very solid goalkeepers, Cordoba being the Shmeichel type. But then, I'm weary about this pissing around with the GK position.
