Carabao Cup 2022/23

If a player gets a red in this game, are they out for the final or a league game? Be grand if Saudi Arabia lost the head a bit and got a card.

Not that Longstaff with our coaching. Eddie Howe and his staff have done wonders for him.

There's no way to say either way. Not like players don't develop. What's to say training with some of the good players we've had in the last few years he wouldn't have been even better than he is currently.

My initial post was tongue in cheek anyway. Glad we didn't get it, not for the quoted price anyway.

Have been for years. Maybe the 2 new attackers coming in might spark us back to life.

Newcastle will play for penalties in the final won't they :(

I would rather play Newcastle than Southampton.. Saints would have a go whereas if we can break Newcastle down I think we will be good. Also that goalless draw we had against them we had matey boy up front stinking the place out.. you know the one who plays in the Saudi leagues now.

Was that a good save or a poor attempt? That pass was fantastic.

Turned off after the first twenty minutes but by the sound of things we'd rather play second half Newcastle in the final rather than first half Newcastle.

Think they haven't conceded a first half goal since August or something in all comps.

Newcastle hasn’t won a major domestic trophy since 1955. They’ll be very difficult to beat in the final

Thats a red card offence. Ouch.

Ref going over to the video. Should be a red that.

Will that be him banned for the next 3 domestic games or for League Cup?

Red all day long! Will he miss the final or does it count for the league?
