Just one of many the twat has made lchk

;)

marchingontogether is not particularly logical in this thread. He gives a list of Leeds` position over the past few years and says that their record is not really bad.

But wait, mate - it`s not the Reds you should be talking to. Talk to your own bloody club - if Davie O`Leary was sacked when according to you Leeds` record is not bad then who sacked him? WE DIDN`T - your own club`s Chairman etc did.

It`s Leeds United that thinks Leeds is in trouble. Methinks you should be posting your messages in a Leeds forum - you are barking up the wrong tree here.

It might have escaped your keen eye that we are just having a chat and in fact the question was directed at a scouser.

The Leeds forums are plastered with what and when PR should have and should not have done....a fair number of emails have found their way to him directly as well ;)

Ridsdale sure took a long time to realise that Leeds had been knocked out of Europe. It took him till the end of June.

Stop having a go at Ridsdale - it's the 1st July and you still think we are out of Europe.

Yorkshire Post.

LEEDS UNITED'S new manager will not have to sell Rio Ferdinand after the club's plc instructed chairman Peter Ridsdale to ignore all offers for the England international.

Ferdinand is valued at £35m following a successful World Cup and is attracting interest from a host of clubs, but Leeds have taken the difficult decision to keep hold of their prize asset.

On the day that Robbie Keane turned down a £10m move to Sunderland, the Yorkshire Post learned that Ridsdale has been instructed by the influential members of the plc board of directors that Ferdinand is not for sale, irrespective of the price, and to dismiss bids out of hand.

The only reason Leeds will be forced to sell Ferdinand is if the talented centre-back returns from his holiday intent on leaving Elland Road to further his career elsewhere, although Ridsdale remains confident that will not happen.

The news is a huge boost for supporters and strengthens Ridsdale's bargaining position when it comes to replacing sacked David O'Leary as manager.

Ridsdale has revealed that Leeds will make an approach for their managerial target in the next 24 hours but refuses to confirm that Martin O'Neill is the club's No 1 choice.

Leeds have finalised a short list of three candidates, headed by O'Neill, but while Ridsdale appreciates the qualities of the Celtic manager, he is tight-lipped about O'Leary's successor.

He said: "We want to get the right person and will not be rushed into making an appointment, but we hope to make a move for our preferred candidate before the end of this week.

"I understand why Martin O'Neill's name has been put forward but we have never confirmed that he is on our list.

"What we have to do is take into account both the candidate's managerial qualities and availability, those are the two most important issues at stake."
