Just upgraded to a 1440p monitor but I'm struggling to find decent settings for good quality and stable performance. On 1080p I had found the sweet spot. I'm kinda missing my 1080p right now.
I have a 3070 GPU and i5 something something. I'd like to hear how others are running their game.
I'm not a huge fan of upscaling but I kinda feel like I have to, to keep my GPU under 75° when running 1440p.

RPK, Kastov 762 or TAQ56 for an AR.
Fennec for SMG
Not figured out the snipers or any other SMGs yet
Can't get the hang of the fennec, just feels like it doesn't suit my playstyle, which I thought it would have. Prefer the FSS hurricane as my main SMG I think. Quite like the MX9 too.
Agree with kastov, that's a beast. Taq56 too.
Think your weapon setup depends a lot on the maps.

Finally starting to click for me and got 3 wins this week. I'm not dying within 10 seconds of hitting the ground have some favoured drop zones that I know well enough that get me off to a decent start.

I don't like the hot drops so not sure about best zone for kills. Hydro-electric seems popular for that though. I've improved my game by going for quieter spots early on, getting my Ak74u from the buy station and easing myself into the round

Oh yeah, defo get that sorted. Some floor loot is actually decent but you need to get your own weapons set up. Look at the M4, TAQ-56 and AK47 for your all rounders.
Also, when you buy a weapon from the buy station, you only get the primary weapon and no perks or anything. You get your full loadout from the lobby drops or clearing strongholds
Game changes day to day, your loadout never players the same twice.
I've heard it's actually shit netcode or something but don't understand that fully, guessing it's something to do with servers and that, so causing a type of lag?
Absolute dogshit you can pump a full mag into someone then get shot once and you're dead, watch the replay and it happens completely differently though.

It's usually poor connection affecting hit reg
Ping never drops out of about 30-40ms range, maybe high 40s at worst. Is that bad? Thought that would be decent.
RPK is probably the strongest but mobility isn’t great. Taq56 for beaming but I prefer the TaqV for its power.
MP5, Vaznev and Fennec all have the same ttk but MP5 has slightly better ads.
I don’t bother with snipers at the mo, which is a shame as I loved the kar98. The whole 2 shot thing makes them too poor for me.
Were you dropping? We have a few. The big city, the village at the top and the area way off right of the map. Verdansk had so many notable places but this is very samey with nowhere really standing out. They’re just where we’ve had success a few times.
Quarry in the North West usually works well for me then there is an unnamed location in the south east, just north of the airport that has loads of money and a buy station nearby.
They really need to fix the start point of the train as it is the same every match. There is a great location on the far east of the map where I've had plenty of joy but the train passes right by it at the start of every round meaning its always hot
Tough going tonight but was on with some mates who aren't great. The bottle of red certainly didn't help matters either
That far east area is the one I was talking about. It can be great, but yeah, can be very hot too. Will check out the one above the airport.
Holy shit my last game, guy had 20 odd kills in the first minute, then vtols and chopper gunners all match, everyone else left

Yeah it's shotting me in lobbies against proper teams or decent players now. Not got a chance of doing well tonight
Don't think I've had a game end 6v6 in about 20 games, always get loads of sulky drop outs
Is it just me or is the third plate a massive advantage? Feels like it takes twice as long to kill someone. Really annoying.

I feel the same, TTK difference between 2 and 3 plates feels huge.
Again, playing well pop a weapon xp token, can't kill anyone after that. As if by magic
Atleast one objective per day is to use a battle rifle and it's fecked so you can only use the lachman. I wouldn't mind if it let me use another so I could level it up but already fully levelled the lachman ffs

I like the new gulag. Hated the later ones in wz1. Pretty good success in this one.
Why can’t you use a different one? The ftac recon is a beast
The objectives don't work with the other rifles, tried it a few times and only seems the lachman can be used for objectives, think it's a bug.
Man, lobbies are rough, either with pros and going 6-30
Or getting breeze lobbies and going positive k/d.
It's like matchmaking is doing the opposite of what it is supposed to.
Ah I don't bother with those to be honest. Just working my way through the guns. Done ARs, SMGs, half the BRs, and started on the LMGs. Saving the rest for Shipment.
I've done a fair few, but some are ballaches, feck shotguns, pistols I just suck with, and some of the marksmen/battle rifles just aren't for me. It's a nightmare, you have a few games with a gun you're unfamiliar with whole everyone is using their fave tuned weapons and your k/d gets smashed to pieces

Games full of dickheads, I'm nearly done with it now.
Matchmaking is shit, guns seem to just do random damage depending what match you're in, too many knobs with riot shields and it's clear loads of people are using hacks now, can see on kill cams them tracking you through a wall when no UAV or anything is up, they literally track you step for step.
Then add team leaving cos you're not winning leaving you 2-3 men down ffs

Matchmaking is good. I'm playing good/tough lobbies Guns seem consistent to me.
Too many knobs? of course
People using hacks? some for sure but others are just better, I can admit it if someone has completely outplayed me or has better aim

I stuck it out 1 v 6 the other day in team death match
was an experience.Yeah I get loads are better but the ones using hacks aren't even subtle about it when you watch the kill cams, you can tell pretty early in game anyway when they're 20-30 kills deep and nobody else is past 5 kills.
Think it's giving me my ping/latency wrong, what I see on my screen compared to kill cams is massively different half the time too, not sure we are even on the same map sometimes

I may be getting stressed because I'm getting better at the game so expect better of myself every game, k/d is still on its way up from where it was
Got to say, I've found my home with pretty much any of the battle rifles. Love them. Beasts.

As with every Call of Duty, I find myself playing hardcore mode's because the normal mode is just too imbalanced.
