Bruno to Madrid... ?

hmm but supposedly not goo enough for us because of a lack of passing skills...
Sporting's president said the other day that the only concrete offer was 45mil euros +20 mil in addons from Spurs.
We were just not in for him.

The whole argument of "Big clubs didn't want him" is flawed because how many big clubs needed a player that plays his exact position?

Liverpool? No
Arsenal? They needed a winger and were on a budget besides Pepe
Chelsea? Transfer ban
Atletico? They don't play with a CAM and just bought Felix for there 2 striker formation
PSG? no
Real Madrid? They spent 300M this summer
City? They are stacked in Midfield as well

Ok so that leaves 2....United? If there interest was real they wanted to low ball and well....Woodward. Spurs? They made a offer but once again tried to Low ball and have Christian Eriksen in that same position.

You really have to try to say he is a bad player or only Portuguese league level because he truly isn't. Once again when he leaves if he flops I will gladly admit I was wrong and take the heat but I have no doubt it won't be the case. Best player I have see in Sporting Live or on TV in my 23 years of life.

Above is his full stats as a Sporing player.

Based on that post it seems the big clubs really didn't want him.

He wasn’t exactly tearing it up at Udinese or Sampdoria before he moved to Sporting. Italian league also tends to give opposition more time on the ball compared to EPL pressing and rush style. Maybe that’s why there are doubts if he can translate his Sporting form to other leagues.

Sir Alex used to say when you can get a top player you get him and worry about where he'll play and formations later.

At the same time he had over 100 games played in the Series A before he was 21. When a player has obvious ability it does not matter which league they are from The best players in the EPL have all come from weaker leagues.

Either way we will find out sooner rather than later. Also Portugal play Serbia today and Portugal are rumored to play a front 4 of Ronaldo, Felix, Bernardo Silva, and Bruno Fernandes. Thats a great attack that I am excited to see.

Although that is still true I think that applies more to the players with the ability to win you serious trophies for example The Ronaldos, The Messis, the Neymar's, the Mbappes of the world etc.

Bruno obviously is not that player but he could be a very good player for a bigger team no doubt about it. In todays heavily inflated market why spend money on a player where you already have multiple options for.

He will move to the EPL sooner rather then later and then we will find out but for now its just speculative:p

The thing is both us and Spurs have a hole in that position, Liverpool have been looking for an AM since they lost Coutinho, none of us moved for him and that is just the PL alone. I honestly think he'll end up at Valencia or a team like that, if he comes to the PL my guess is Wolves due to how that club works right now with Mendes so heavily involved.

Are people honestly still going on about this guy? It’s gonba go all the way to january now and we still will have no interest in him.

Simon Peache from the BBC already reported we were interested in him.

Top class. Very versatile, naturally talented. Can play anywhere; up front, at the back, piano, trumpet. Excellent songwriter as well.
