It's happening. Now.
Ole's at the wheel. Bruno's the deal.

He will cost more now, his release clause was lower in the summer.Maybe United waited it out to get the price down?
What was his release clause in the summer? Most reports are suggesting fees significantly lower than his current release clause. He will cost more now, his release clause was lower in the summer.

Would prefer either of them to be honest. Would probably cost more thoughPuts an end to any interest in Maddison and Grealish I would imagine
Not exactly the most encouraging video
And neither are attainable now.Would prefer either of them to be honest. Would probably cost more though
Maddison is far more equipped to play as an 8 than Bruno Fernandes would be IMO. Bruno is pure #10 for me. Wouldn't work with him deeper. Can play as an 8 in a three man midfield or a number 10. I've never seen him play in a pivot, but I would say he has the engine to do so.
I can't see Ole moving away from the 4231, so say if we were to sign Fernandes, then he'd probably play as a 10 behind Martial. Unfortunately, that could potentially mean no Maddison/Grealish, who i'm a big fan of. Of course we could always drop Fernandes into the 8 like Ole did with Pogba, and buy a 10 in the summer.
Taking adapting from a weaker league into account I doubt he'll offer MUCH more than Pereira this season, was hoping more we'd unearth some Kante regen from France

When we were linked with him in the summer it was rumoured to be 50m, he then signed a contract extension which supposedly raised it to 85m. @SportingCP96 should be able to clarify.55 mill pounds is being cited as what United is paying now. Not sure what the price was in the summer.
Looks like you're getting it done
You should've got someone like him in the summer. This feels to me like when you were linked with Ander Herrera, dispatched that hit squad to Bilbao but too late to sign him then just got him a season later. Similar with Maguire.
Decent player who can continue to grow and you're getting him for half the price as say a Ruben Neves. Need 4-5 more of those types though if you're to seriously challenge for league again in next few years.
To be fair he always looks like he's about to cryHe already looks depressed.
Probably trueAnd neither are attainable now.
Sure Martial and Rashford will be happy to get some decent service. Maybe their runs will be noticed now.

would be if it wasnt contradicting since he wants to unearth a unknown gem from weaker french leagueThis is a good point.
Regarding the unearthing of gems - we don't do that. Our scouts haven't unearthed a gem in several years, which leads me to believe that they too, are (massively) under performing.

He was available for £58m(€65m). Spurs offer collapsed due to them wanting to pay €20m in PL + CL winning add-ons. Their president confirmed it a few months ago.55 mill pounds is being cited as what United is paying now. Not sure what the price was in the summer.
Have we even prepared the bid yet?
It is done lads.
The question is why did we not do this in the summer? I’m happy we are getting him, but this just reeks of desperation/lack of planing.
Weird!

Poch wanted him in the summer at Spurs. We are talking to Poch and forward planning for his arrival by signing players he likes.
Maybe. Maybe not.
48 hours to goit's being strongly considered
Or we can just never sing that chant again because it's toss! Well I hope we don't anyway.Atleast he can replace Sanchez in the Oles at the wheel chant
After strongly considering it they will have to seriously consider it.it's being strongly considered

So if we're paying £55m now, sounds like another Woodward special.
