On Friday night, Portuguese outlet CMTV released two audios from Bruno Fernandes where he slams his teammates and the local press, blaming them for what Sporting have been through. Both of the messages have been transcribed by Record.

The first one of them is about the ‘attitude’ of players who are only worried about ‘money’.

“Bro, I don’t say anything! I honestly, if you want me to tell you, I’d rather not comment on anything. I think very badly of some of the attitude of some players. Actually not a certain attitude, it’s an attitude that does not exist. There are players who have no attitude here, bro. They don’t want to be here, they don’t want to play. They don’t want to be here then f*** off, let them say they don’t want to play. They spend a year here getting money, and then they f*** off, bro. S*** attitude bro, for f**** sake.”

Seems like we got a player with the right attitude atleast.
 
Sounds like a Roy Keane character. Can imagine him, McTominay, Williams setting the pace in training!
 
Hope he does well here. Hope his spirit isn't killed by the toxic environment surrounding this club. His attitude seem to be excellent.

I just hope we get to enjoy watching him for at least a few months before our brilliant manager ruins his confidence with coward tactics and negative football.

I have a vague recollection of an England based player saying something along these lines in a podcast. May have been an Arsenal player. It was quite interesting to hear how highly payed footballers were indeed just showing up for a paycheck rather than wanting to push that bit harder for actual success.
 
Won't be long before the usual experts are on here telling us how shite he is and they knew we should never have signed him
 
He could break both his legs in his first training session with us and he would still be a better option than Lingard.
 
I give it 6 months before the 'fans' here turn on him like Maguire and AWB

Bruno was a captain, so clearly a leader. Love it - we need more leaders and players with a heart.
 
I imagine Fernandes will be a pretty good FPL option. He takes set pieces (and we don't have a good one at the club) and he likes to shoot on sight.

No, considering I watch football and have working eyes and brain, I won't say that about Bruno.

The truth is he's far too good to be coached by the likes of our staff. But we'll just have to see how this turns out, and pray he doesn't magically turn to shit like all our players tend to do for some reason.
 
Anyone any idea who Nathan Bishop is just signed for us? Lee Grant replacement?
