Any of you like them?

Seem to be a love or hate type of band.

Anyway, new album out. Must say the new single has grown on me. Always thought they were a shit band... but starting to like them now :nervous:.

Absolutely shit, and so is any music like that.

I sent them a message on myspace telling them they're not Metal, they wern't happy and replied by calling me a "faggot"...original eh.

Bloody hell biscuit you're a bit optimistic if you're hoping to get more than about 2 people reply to this thread. They're ok I guess, not a band I actively look out for and there are better metalcore bands out there, but might give their new album a go when I run out of stuff to listen to.

Been listening to the album. Its not very good. Ok, i guess. Quite like the single, Chelsea Smile, though.

What bands do you like RedKaos?

They don't to claim to be Metal, they are Deathcore/Metalcore.

Not expecting many replies obviously as most people on here won't have a clue who they are. I thought you liked ' As i lay dying' smashed? Not too dissimilar.

Absolute wank.

Smashed have faith, i'm still waiting for the punk thread.

It can be me, you and Manx talking about Less Than jake.

It'll be great.

With the occasional shite band thrown in by Biscuit like Bring Me The Horizon

Their hair

Like I've listened to them for laugh before, but I thought they were deliberately tongue-in-cheek.

I hope they don't take themselves seriously, because its good as a jokey anti-culture statement. But musically they are shite. I'll give the new stuff a listen now nonetheless.

I saw less than Jake at Reading. Decent band. BMTH aren't a band i particularly like. Just noticed they had a 2nd album and gave it a listen.

I don't think they do take themselves too seriously. 'Tell Slater not to wash his dick' has a pretty decent intro.

Vocally this 2nd album sounds different.

4 power chords and a twat that can't sing.

 is spot on.

Im getting tired of these bands with their terrible, nauseating hairstyles and their female clothing. I mean only hair metal bands can get away with that, and that was in the 80s.

Architects are a shit load better than them.

With that said a bunch of us Leeds lot used to be pretty tight with the Sheffield metal scene and they were sound as feck lads. Just a shame they aren't that good of a band though.

Quite like the Architects, well decent live band. BMTH olds stuffs shit, but i genuinely think Suicide season is a good album.

None of the drums are real and it's just really really predictable, sounds really pasted together, despite the clean polish it was given.

All in my opinion of course.

Know a few people that are into these so i've looked into it. The description of the band came up as:

"Fronted by a floppy-haired clothing designer who looks quite a bit like an emo version of Saturday Night Live's Andy Samberg and sings in an unusually high-pitched vocal style suggesting that the Darkness' Justin Hawkins was a key unacknowledged influence, Bring Me the Horizon aren't the average deathcore band."

But i'll give them a go.

I think I understand that. So when they play live, do they also use that technique for the drums? Would explain why they took so long to set up.

I was surprised but the guitarists were more competent then i expected.

You can incorporate it into a live set up yes and I wouldn't be suprised if it were the case.

These remix's are weird

You like BMTH, Downxandxout?

Tis all dubby! (referring to the vid tht i posted) If this comes on at a rock club, the place would go fecking ape.
They are alright actually.
As far as screamy bands go (just so the none-emos can understand what we're on about) underoath are by far my favourite.

Ha. Underoath are one of my favourite bands. Loved every album of theirs and are really good live.

Underoath aren't an Emo band.

Fugazi - they are an emo band.

You'd probably get away with saying early Thursday stuff is emo as well.

Was at this gig. Was pretty sick. Lost my shoes and came away with a black lip and eye.

You want to stay away from the makeup in that case. Emo.

Seriously, they were ok the other night in Bristol, August Burns Red shit all over everyone at that show though.

Isn't a mosh pit unless you leave with a head wound of some kind... don't know about the make up.

You reckon? I'd say im more of a casual August Burns Red fan. They're decent, but i thought BMTH were better in Norwich certainly. I've listened to SS non stop though, so that could explain it.

What the hell did I just watch? That's not music it's just a hairy guy growling and shouting.

It'll grow on you. I'd much rather see BMTH live than Coldplay or any of that bollocks.

I can't Bring you the horizon but I can take you to the edge of a cliff.

Since I saw them mentioned, I'll just say that Architects are from Brighton town I'll have you know. Reppin that South East shit.
