you have to ask then why we don't do that to them or why we didn't to Palace last week. the fact is we aren't good enough and as ever Ole has no back-up plan

It requires discipline, if one of those pressing players falters then it opens up an escape route which cuts open the team as it allows a direct route to their back line bypassing the midfield. Pogba frankly can't do this, neither can Martial or Rashford.

What we should be doing is playing long a bit more, might be ugly on the eye and it requires are forwards to actually... run (which seems to be difficult for some of them) but it would break through 'the wall'.

we look appalling. it is a mystery. my best guess is that we are and will continue to be a team that benefits from confidence and momentum. we have gone on two sensational runs and 2 appalling runs under ole so far, rarely seems to be the inbetween... at no point last season did we show 4th place form, it was 9th place form followed by 1st place form for the final 40% of the season.

That's actually an indictment on Ole no? No stable performances.

Id be interested to hear from the Blame Ole for Everything On The Pitch wether or not he is responsible when we play well.

He (and the coaches) are responsible for the organisation of an identifiable playing structure so that players have a greater chance to knowing where, and when, his teammates are at any given situation on the field. Good coaching minimises the chances of poor team performances, even if you can't account for individual mistakes as a variable.
