Get him in, will probably be cheap compared to the other youngsters. Exciting times with him, Rashford and Martial :drool:
 
Please god be true. This will basically be both my muppet dreams come true, first I was obsessed by Bailly and got my fill, now Embolo which I also have obsessed about might come true.

Edit: Come to think of it I may have some JuJu going on here, who should I obsess about next? Any specific wishes?

Like Martial he won't struggle physically and he's even faster than Martial but isn't as good a dribbler. His dribbling is still very good mind, even great.
 
When he was supposedly going to Leipzig everyone was saying it was good for his career and not too many seemed bothered. Now he's linked to us again everyone is going wild about. Does not compute.
 
A definite 'yes please' from me. Up there with the Martial's and Sane's for me.

Will be delighted if true. Been a champion of his cause in his football forum thread. He has the raw attributes we need - power, speed, frame, stamina, close control an an eye for goal.
 
Fantastic, definitely fit's Mourinho's mantra of strong and fast too.
 
I think if we did sign him he'd be used as a striker.

With Martial playing of the left and Rooney now in midfield, we only have Rashford as a striker. We never replaced Rvp & Chicha.. Ibra will come in and hopefully Embolo for the striker position.
 
Looks good and is a god on FM....but after Memphis last year I'm wary of these wingers playing in lower league.
 
Seriously though, be great to have young players like him, Rashford, and Martial on the bench as backup for Zlatan, Rooney, and Mata.
 
Seriously, where do you guys get time to watch all these random players? At least some of you have to be basing these assessments purely on FM. I mean how often do ye actually watch Basel?
 
I think he'll be going to Germany, most likely RB Leipzig who are swimming in cash. Very unlikely that we'll get him.
 
Thought it was a done deal to Leipzig. Makes more sense for his career anyways.

I dint want Memphis. But the two th NGOs he has over Memphis are that he is genuinely very quick and he can dribble. He's certainly more talented.

I am just excited because everybody else too :lol: No, but i watched his compialtion last year and this year ;) and he is highly rated on here for quite some time, but i have never watched him live. Wh watches Basel anyway, but some on here do and really rate him.
 
Last summer I wanted him along with Martial, so will be a great signing for me. However there's one thing that's bugging me about this. On Sky Sports, United briefed them that we weren't after Vardy in order to give more opportunities for Rashford. This would make even less sense if we were to sign a 19 year old who's considered an even bigger talent than Rashford. Of course I believe United should be signing all the best young players in the world, but it just doesn't make sense (especially if we were to sign an experienced striker say Zlatan).

I'm also a masters student, so have a bit of time on my hands. When we get linked to a young player, I make an effort to watch a bit of their games.

It makes sense because Embolo still plays a lot on the wing.

He can play on the right, so it would actually make sense, as I doubt Mourinho rates Lingard

He plays atleast as often, if not more, as an RW instead of a forward. He is tailored for a 4-3-3 and wide right forward role, much like a right sided Martial.
