Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

I really hope we beat these. Been getting a few cocky guys at work saying they’ve got 2 finals left against 2 easy oppositions. Every city fan I’ve seen is confident they’ll smash us. Think they’re forgetting the game at OT where we won and had more shots and chances then them.

That still only makes two people though

Our home and away form is vastly different. Wembley technically counts as an away because it's not at OT.
It’s funny you mention away from because I’m pretty sure I seen the other somewhere that city have only won 1 away game against the top 9 in the league this season and that was arsenal. I’ve not seen that mentioned as much as our away form though….

This is definitely true

‘Only’ beat Arsenal away

Why do they think they'll lose? Please give me some hope!
General pessimism probably, but also because you have the players to hurt us on the counter and the fact there is an even bigger game next week. I'm the same, not optimistic at all, but I've never ever been before a derby

Yeah but our form against the top 9 means we can't win the league because reasons.

I live and travel around manchester all the time. Honestly, you struggle to find a city fan anywhere.

It seems to have been the case for a long time. Back in the early eighties, I used to get the bus from Rusholme to Old Trafford on match days, a route that took me through the supposed City area of Moss Side. I was sometimes with a friend, sometimes alone, but I always had my red, white, and black scarf around my neck, and I was never bothered by a soul. I even lived a few blocks from Maine Road and barely ever saw a City scarf. I had a couple of mates who were City fans from Rochdale, and one side of my family were City, but they weren't matchgoers.

Finally we find out the identity of the city fan base.

I’m not sure about attendance records but it was a capacity filled stadium yeah and one of the big ones in the states iirc. I think it was Marca

The attendance was 109,318 which at the time was a record for a soccer game in the US, the Spanish newspaper Marca alledgedly doctored the stadium photo's to make it look like their were far more Real Madrid fans their than their actually hear.

Its nice to see that City are now bringing in celebrities from Asia to fill seats that they were unable to sell.

I don't think that word is needed, it was extremely obvious.

I'm not certain, but I think it was this one. Michigan. A crowd of 109,318 for a preseason!

Bloody hell that’s a massive crowd

Yeah that’s quite insane. Impressively so.
Roughly 4/5s of the stadium is actually built below ground level; the ‘nosebleed’ seats are only like three stories high.

Largest stadium in the western hemisphere per Wiki.
